Default Rfactor Central?

Do the editors with files uploaded to Rfactor Central get paid? It appears I can nolonger download without paying a fee. I must have missed something here, when did this come about?

I don't know if they get paid or not but I can still download without being a member. I have noticed a lot of broken links though. I figured it was due to their system being down a couple of weeks ago.

I get the message saying my free downloads are up and I need to pay a membership fee now. Not likely lol.

I'll bet it's still the server issues they were having. I go over and a lot of links are dead, I'll go back later and they are fine. Only to be dead again later! I think they said their server had been hacked or attempted to. But I'm not sure. I saw a message saying it was taking longer to get it up than they thought. Maybe it's still glitchy!

I have noticed a lot of 502 messages, so probably still having issues with their server. Didn't see any messages about paying, got shut down before that probably

Between the 1st and 3rd of October they were performing server updates. You should still be able to download for free today after you login.

If you want to download something, scroll down and below the description there is the normal links to Rapidshare/Mediafire/et all. The links at the top are for their special super fast download and 1 click install system thingy.

And no, modders do not get paid for uploads/files.

Whenever I've tried to d/l there I merely get a message that I must register first, but they won't accept my registration. So I wrote them off. A little internet searching will find most of what they have elsewhere.

Well, first I need to get to the page I want. Those 502 are annoying...

Might offer them my help on getting it right. Been in this IT business way too long

They just posted another message about it taking longer than they planned to get it back up and running. That's pretty obvious but nice to know either way. I like the sound of that- single click install thingy- so technical!
