When I thought that the Supra mod is the closest thing I can get to feel "realism" in a game I came across the Chevy C6 mod.
Let me tell you this is the most accurate mod ever. The similarity between driving a real sports car and driving the Z06 in rFactor is scary, the feedback of the car is so amazing. 1.How come there's no other street cars by these 2 talents? 2.How come Niels' homepage is non existent and some physics mods only have megaupload links left? 3.Are there any WIP street cars (or physics mod) by either Siim or Niels? Imagine an old school Ferrari made with passion like the C6 Z06. Or a Dodge Viper or even better! An NSX type R! |

Hello, I'm happy to read you enjoy those cars! Siim is quite far with an updated Corvette, which includes the ZR1 but I have almost no time now to do the physics, and we also want new sounds which is not easy.. So don't hold your breath I'm afraid!
My youtube channel (niels007007) has lots of videos of cars I made, but sadly they are almost all private 'tests'. Perhaps you can enjoy watching them though. I do some 'pro' sim work with a few racing teams and I work at Reiza Studios, so you may want to check 'game stockcar' out, it has some well modelled circuits too.. |

The C6 mod is great fun, I remember the first time I used it was at Mid Ohio and I was having an absolute blast trying to catch perfect slides around every bend. It was the most fun I've had in rFactor

Hi, nice to see people like street cars in racing sims as well.
Anyway, the C6 Corvette update (or rather, it is a remake - completely scratch made new mesh etc.) is mostly done graphics wise. Sounds and physics still need work. As I am really busy with real life right now (school mostly) and Niels is also busy, I don't think there will be a release before summer. As far as future plans go, If everything goes well and I can get the school stuff done and have once again free time, I would really like to bring more street cars into rFactor and possibly rFactor2 too. Please don't make any requests, as I like to work on stuff I really like myself, if you know what I mean. |

I always loved the C6 and Supra Mod maybe I´m the first ones who have downloaded and tested the mods and its simple the best I always recommend for everyone who was new on the simulation world and to the old ones too. So Looking forward for this update.

I need somebody to build one of these for simulation.
I have all the data and sounds. This car is an absolute "kick in the ass" to drive on switchbacks. Super fun. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/588472/SAAB/..._2000_01_m.jpg |

Looks nice, now all you need to do is show it's true pace by putting it BEHIND a new Viper! LOL!

I don't like car's tendency to spin at ridiculously low speeds. Something is wrong there. In physics or in tire grip.

The dynamic engine sound not only doubles but TRIPLES the fun!
Can't get enough of the ZR1.
