first of all thanks a lot motorfx for your great work!
![]() I tried Brabham at Kyalami, Silverstone, Glen and Nurburgring. in all this circuits I had big problems with force feedback (DFP steering wheel, standard settings). in all the curves (and straights) I have continuous shots on the steering wheel. in other circuits (ISI and modders) the FF is ok. in official ISI's forum, other guys have the same problem. can we hope for a future update for fix this problem? tk again, you are great ![]() bye, Mauro Last edited by Mauro01; 10 October 12 at 22:00. |

Same problem here Mauro with my CSW. At times it's like driving over cobbles with no tyres. I'm in danger of damaging my wheel, desk or wrists if I continue to drive these tracks and I had stuff falling of the desk shelves whilst driving 'round the the Ring!

you need to adjust the ffb in the control ini file. and it will make it better, there are all kinds of post at rfactor2 forums about this problem in rf2,from the beginning day, to when it went public. Not the tracks fault.....
P.S Thanks For The Free Addon Track] Great Work! as all ways |

Steering torque filter="0"; The range is from 0 to 32. I settled on a value of 8. I Decrease FFB to 0.9 in game option especially for these tracks. Nevertheless, when driving F2 2012 cars on Nords75, I have to hold hard my steering wheel

While I don’t dispute that this is probably a symptom of a bigger force feedback issue (don’t get me started on the problems I’m having with my CSW!), there can be no doubt that there is something different about these tracks from all the others so far released. There is no similar problem, for instance, with Putnam Park released at the same time as the Nurburgring. All of the converted 70’s tracks exhibit this severe roughness though and none of the fixes on the forums have any significant effect as far as I can tell. Turning down the overall force is probably the only real answer, but I personally dislike light feeling steering.

The right thing to do is establish whether the track is correct ; NOT change ffb settings for tracks from one person only. The impression I get is that the bumps are arbitrarily placed to add character and are in no way representative of the actual track. If this is the case, then there is no reason why bumps can't be made more subtle or, better yet, reflect the actual track. |

just tested now hockenehim.
this is the way motorfx! ![]() now with Brabham the FF is much better and there aren't continuous shots on the wheel in all curves (DFP). now i can drive! thanks a lot. P.S. I hope in future updates (for solving FF problem) for circuits already released (kyalami, glen, jarama, nurburgring) Last edited by Mauro01; 18 October 12 at 20:30. |
