Hello I have a question. I downloaded a model from forza the ford transit SSV but I have a problem converting it. Bregels tutorial shows everything from scratch but the model I downloaded wasn't split up in the same way..please, How do I split these parts up so they match bregels tutorial or something resembling that. So I can move on and convert some cars

Export back to obj, choose split by material option in export window. Import with split by material selected.

Now I get a error saying "failed to locate preferable environment texture "chrome.dds". Adjust filter preference in profile editor"
Help please? |

^^ You need the chrome.dds to NFSEnvMap.bmp. TO do this:
1. Options>Settings 2. Profile>Editior 3. Preference>Filters>EA NFS Shift 4. Change chrome.dds to NFSEnvMap.bmp in the EnvMap section

Tried that and It jumped back to chrome.dds when I imported a new material.. I applied and saved the profile but still nothng

^^ Just save a white picture as chrome.dds and put it a folder. Prefrably the shift 2/vehicles/textures
|
