I did the '98 Davidoff McLaren on the WSGT model several years ago, but never uploaded it here (linked elsewhere). You guys have it? Need it?

The skin has been done and released on a private site, however a version available for everybody is obviously beneficial!!

Oops it was car number 3, not 10, that's a car that ran in America. The pack is 1998 DAMS. I don't think I added that car.

Thaks, the Marcos can be done on the verde version, but the Viper in LMRT and not verde.
For the Porsche we can do the skins with the LMRT version too, I have asking gogo404 for the tamplates. And for the Viper Oreca draws, I will maybe ask darkshadow for a conversion (darkshadow is the author of the LM 1998 Chrisler Viper GTS-R skins) or maybe do it by myself with my secret way

I did an alternative pair of Zakspeeds by editing existing ones. One to go with the one in the pack, one to go with the one on another site.

Should the Vipers be done on Verde's version? Wasn't 1998 the start of the modern style Viper?

Thinking about it, the same for the Marcos. Without looking (sorry no time right now) I'm sure that's the more modern wider version.

Yep my mistake, the Oreca Viper and probably the Chamberlain cars as well, seeing as the '97/'98 version Viper needs the more modern shape, should go on the LMRT version. The pics below give a clear difference in visual spec.

'96 Viper (Verde model):

'98 Viper (LMRT model):

With the Marcos, again there are visual differences between the two versions.

'96 LM600 (Verde's version):

'98 LM600 (BorekS version?):

So yeah my apologies didn't notice the differences in the cars. But seeing as there is models for the '98 skins, at least they are skinnable on close enough the right version.

The BorekS version of the Marcos LM600 is more like the LM600 Evo car. Wider/lower

I just checked and the 2 cars he (Euser) used in 1998 were older chassis, so I am wrong. The one he used for FIA GT was used at Le Mans in 97. I guess he had a bit better aero package though.

The logo on the front of the 10 is hanlo hauser machen glucklich. It also appears on the roof on the right hand side.

The number 9 car picture was taken at a demonstration show (run by Marlboro) and therefore is not official FIA GT livery. So I believe that small logo can be taken out.

Sure why not. This is how this community is all about. Finding people to help each other making our hobby to a big pleasure.

But please don't expect something amazing. It won't be any kind of accurate 3d model, as I'm just a 2d Artist. But if you are interested in a not very pretty+ not so accurate Bitter than I'm willing to help you out for sure.

No I cannot. Like I said, the car exists, but the mod it's done for cannot be posted here. It's deemed illegal by NGR Rules. Sorry.

Peugeot 406 tail lights!!! I didn't know that.....that would have been useful to know. I thought GT2 cars of early FIA GT racing had the same horse power restrictions. So how come he had to tune the viper engine? Didn't they have a customer engine that Chamberlain were using?....hmmmm some answers give more questions!!!

It would be nice if one might be able to ask that to Bleekemolen himself. Er, I meant, Hezemans (doing a bit o' confusion here ).

If one discover his location, it's relatively near and he's mad moreover, one could also arrange a meeting for questions, questions, questions and post it at NoGrip.

That would be E-P-I-C.

But I'm a madman too far from the 'States'.

(And I'm all involved in my job research atm. )

I know there was an article in a Dutch magazine last year about the Bitter GT1. Toine always has great stories to tell about his GT teams and cars. But the Bitter having a tuned engine I cannot recall him saying anything about that. I'll see if I can find the copy at home.

However, Toine was famous for tuning the engines when they were driving Vipers in the early 2000's as well. Their cars would often have more power or less weight then the Oreca Vipers..
1 story I recall was about the drink bottles. At the last pitstop they would switch the drinkbottles for bottles filled with quicksilver so the car would not be under weight. A full bottle would weigh around 5 kg
