Could you please re-post instructions to mix headlights collection with Daytime Ai

I have JSGME templates grafted for all cars and colour waiting. lool


P.S. Idea add another screen dirt

light dirt - less dusty tracks or mini rain drop
dirty - dusty tracks ( no run off ) or medium rain drop
very dirty - dusty tracks or full rain

Or versions to use with HQ Rain that have a grimey streaky less opaque look, harder to see in heavy rain.

Yep deleted/discontinued all-in-1 anniversary patch because it was twice work for me and useless: install all hq mods and you 'll get the same

And no, it is not possible to call a specific light into .cas file contrary to headlights which can be different by renaming texmap

Dirty v2 has no 2nd dirt layer contrary to very dirty v3 which looks more realistic to me

Unfortunately, no way to choose rain animation when it is light or heavy rain: always the same

I thought they were set to be invisible? They are called inside the trk files and are collideable but I always thought they were to be invisible

First off, Thank You GTR233 for this Great Collection of new files to make GTR2 & GTL look so good. Simply amazing. Looks like a new game, even close to the latest games. Are there any files from this that can be applied to P & G & Race07? Like skys, headlights etc. Just wondering. Thanks again for all your long hard work !!

I would make PnG Essentials lol

Either way using JSGME you can make PnG a Standalone MOD or just a MOD
Swap GDB/TRK , all options in a click

PnG = GTR2 so all mods should work at 95% (maybe brembo calipers and disks won't display because cars use different images).
Race series are most different = the best is to try each mod, it is only dds images so even if it doesn't work then you won't get CTD. Headlights should work ; skies won't work because RACE uses no more .gtr files but dds images directly so if you want them then you will have to extract dds from .gtr files. I don't own Race (game is nicer than gtr2 but not as moddable) so I cannot help much sorry

Hi,
I need to know what's in trace.txt file after CTD in order to help you
So launch game with gtr2.exe -trace=100

I made a hq3 championship this afternoon (3 laps only per track) and no CTD on my side so I don't know :
Download archive again, check md5 sum then try again with a fresh install without other mods.
Did you install the last version of my mod ?
Because hq3 tracks bug was discovered by Arthur Stepanov at the very first versions and fixed.
So I need your trace.txt to know more

Thanks a lot,did a quick test, i think it's a little better now...

Here is the Porsche 996 GT3 RSR dirtscreen .gmt with 10 frames animation and slightly increased time between animation


I need to now what you think about it, could you try it and give feedback?
Drop .gmt in GameData\Teams\NGT\Porsche 996 GT3 RSR Teams\
and new 10 *.dds in GameData\Teams\ respectively.

Edit: looks good, better progressivity, other members can give you feedback too.
Maybe it would be better if you could increase laps/time between layers

JFYI a small update is in the air : new reworked tire treads v2 with optional gravels, hq AI v2, new dirt screen v5 with less dirt but layers change is smoother, new f575 hq steering wheels, and that's all ATM

maybe a bad install or a third party mod has corrupted your files... because it should work so try a clean install.
AFAIK if cars don't move on starting grid then gearbox files are corrupted or missing

Reminded me, I had started making some multi choice Daytime Headlight colour ( color) mods to add to Essentials ( I forget whom but someone asking GTR233 how to change the daytime colors gave me the idea)

I only got as far as making up all the folder templates.

So I go to Unfinished folder just now, have one look and forgot how GTR233 told me to do it
