Default The end of the Viper

We knew it was going to happen, this just carves the demise of the Viper in stone. There are some cars that use Viper Crate engines. (Bob Lutz's Fisker car for example) I wonder if those will remain in production?

Perhaps some european "garagisti" might positively welcome the news as a special occasion to take 'on the fly'? After all one of the most famous racing car of all time was done with an american engine over a british body work... (just foolin' a bit )

Too optimistic (times have changed) ?

Zagato built the TZ3 Stradale a few years back with a coachbuilt Alfa body over the Viper, but I don't think they'd be able to get the Viper parts to do a second run now.

Ow, a splendid coupe! :-O

Come on Marchionne, start thinking to build this car with the Viper engine... small production... pretty please?

(Maserati might supply the missing parts? )

Funnily enough, the all-carbon TZ3 Corsa sister car had the Maserati 4.2 in it - think they only built one of them on special order though.
