Default 10th Anniversary question

I've installed this mod and it's great. My question is I have RP cars and tracks and HQ cars and tracks.

What's the difference in them besides being made by different guys?

The HQ stuff is the things they actually tweaked so your gonna have duplicates of almost everything since they didnt want to overwrite original files. I dont install it because it turns my install into a mess, i would rather it just overwrite everything personally when you make that many changes...

this is it : 2 different physics.
RP physics have been made by the Indepedant Rebels Group (Chronus, barry...) to make GTR2 REBORN PROJECT back in 2011, you can get more info about it HERE.

HQ physics have been tweaked by philipp for 993/996 and by me for other cars. I was really frustrated with slippy tires in curves so my version has much more grip (especially in rainy conditions) with more progressivity, you can also feel that when braking : distances are shorter. I have also modified lighting too in HQ tracks thanks to Velo scene lighting color match. Tracks AIW are also different.

I think it is better to have the choice : try them both and play with the version you prefer. Moreover, if someday you get bored with one version then you can switch to the other, and at anytime you can play stock vanilla version too

@SilverSYlph : well not really a mess as all files are tagged with either HQ or RP. You can see thoses files easily with windows explorer by simply searching HQ or RP. The most important for me was to not modify stock cars/tracks and to keep a small install package.

Ok, I understand better now. It's what I was feeling but I wanted to make sure.

Thank you.
