Default more cars for P&G

Hi guys. I am wondering if there are Ferrari P4 and Lola T 70 for P&G. If not, would it be possible to convert them from rFactor or GPL ?

There are none, as far as I know.

In regards to conversions from rFactor or GPL, you'd have to do it yourself (with the permissions from the original authors).

At some point, back in 2009, we did have plans already going for more sports prototype racing cars, which included the 1967 Ferrari 330 P4. It had initial ingame tests (see images below) and even a preliminary soundpack that I was building for it (here you can listen an ingame recording of it).

I also recall others being started, such as the 1967 Porsche 907, Ford GT Mk4, Chaparral 2F, as well as the 1968 Porsche 908 and Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/2. I don't recall the Lola T70 (1965-1969) but there were talks and, I guess, that too would be planned eventually.
I clearly recall people asking unceasingly for the Porsche 917, and we did have a secret joint-venture project for it already going, along with a Ferrari 512 S to be its historical opponent.

Unfortunately, things went awry and all these (and other) developments for the P&G project have failed. There are no longer such plans.
It's kind of heart breaking if remembering the huge commitment and ambition this whole project transpired at some point - clearly too much, now looking back, considering the high standards and how small the team always was.
.

BorekS is working on '66 - '69 sportscars for SimBin games. It's already released for GTL and a GTR2 version is WIP. Would not be too difficult to get them in P&G. No Lola T70's though.

It is a shame that they stop the project. At least, as NF Chris said, there is some one still working on cars for P&G. The Ferraris and Lolas are a real miss in P&G. I only had P&G installed two months ago and I got severely addicted to it. Every time I try to race some other sim, in five minutes I am back to P&G.

Regarding the Lola T70's, there is a MKIIIB released for GTL (converted from CSGT's WSC70 mod for rFactor) and there are also some '69 skins available. With some text editing it should be possible to get them in P&G. However, graphics, skins and physics are not really up to P&G level.

It is planned that our LeMans Classic Mod will also be available for P&G.
We're already working on it.
The tyres fitting for P&G still have to be made.
Unfortunately, we cannot say exactly when the P&G version will be ready.

That sounds interesting.
Will it only be for online racing or available for single player too?

of cause you can use the content on our site for offline racing as well, but more fun is Online beside the fact that you can have our popular statistics features (Reporter menu) for each single lap you ride on one of our gameservers...

cheers,
Uwe

tried to register here but the site would not accept my registration so I gave up. Many times these registration requirements are rediculous.

Now that I finally installed it, I'm loving it but I would love it more if the Ferrari 330 and 412 P4's were included, as well as the Ford Mark IV, Chaparral 2D and 2F. Does anyone know why, among the Grand Sport Corvettes, one of the cars has a long whip antenna, and the Penske car does not have the usual Grand Sport baffled hood? Thanks.

I guess the team had to work with the models GTL offered or what modifications these models allowed, respectively.

in relation to the captcha tab. It can be reloaded or refreshed till you get one that you can read.

The picture type captcha tab are the worst . e,g " how many pics have street signs in them" .

check your email junk folder . the email reply could be in there .

Chassis #001 is produced as raced at Sebring 1966. It did not feature the baffled bonnet.

Chassis #004 had this antenna at Sebring 1964

The GTLW team tried to replicate the cars as accurately as possible (probably to our detriment). Most cars completed feature many small details such as these. Others that don't had these details in the pipeline for future releases.
