Default Help needed with zmodeler2

Hey guys!

First of all merry christmas to all

Ok, so I'm trying to convert a car which was originally in Google SketchUp format (*.skp) to a *.gmt file. I first exported the file to *.3ds format and then used zmodeler2 to convert this to a *.gmt. All went fine, and the car works in game... however it appears that ALL of the vertices in the mesh are disconnected from each other, as if the "break" tool has been applied to every vertex (as a result there are 23000 vertices and only 7500 polygons). Is there any way to attach them back together? I tried using the Modify>Submesh>Weld tool with the "Multy-target mode" enabled, but nothing seems to weld all the vertices together. When I use Weld with "multy-target mode" enabled and all the vertices selected, only very very few vertices actually get welded, with 99.9% staying disconnected. The vertices are all exactly on top of each other too. Can somebody please help me out

Also, as a result of all the vertices being disconnected from each other, in GTR2 and zmod 3d mode, the car appears as if it were being rendered in "flat shaded" mode, although this is NOT selected. Just to confirm... this is caused by the vertices problem right?

Thanks all! Love this community

(PS. if any modelers want me to send them the mesh to check it out, you're more than welcome )
