3dsimed is your friend here. To be honest 99% of all F1C mods have been converted to rF/GTR2 ( the ones not are simply too crappy to even bother )

note: MANY F1C mods have encrypted .MTS files ( good luck! [ mesh unlockers are available but I cannot post them or links here )

exactly what do you want to convert?

Actually NONE of them do because file encryption did not exist for F1C.

You could lock mts files in zmodeler as v8 supercars used it.

Yes, you could lock MTS files, and Oleg was kind enough to build support for that into ZM, but changing one byte of a file does NOT constitute encryption.

heh, all I meant was that you cant simply drop many F1C mods into 3dsimed without "unlocking" them

Hello! I want to do the same. Did you got it?
I made a conversion as following:
1- I use MAStudio2002 to Convert F1-2001 MAS to F1-2002 MAS clicking "tools".
2- I use Virtua_LM - Mas Explorer 2.12 to extract in a folder the files inside the F1-2002 MAS.
3- I use 3dSimEd Sim Editor to edit the files in the folder I mentioned in 2, I do it by clicking "File", "Import as object(s)", and selecting all files in folder 2.
Them I save the object clicking "Save as rFactor GMT" - "Save Model Data"
4- I adapted the .veh files to rFactor.

But I canīt load to rFactor cause when I tray to select a vehicle I get the following error message "Error loading mesh file anybody.GM to memory.
In same cases show the vehicle preselected when I load rFactor, but when I change vehicle, them I can't return to this its showed. Always the same message... (changing anybody for the body of the current car)
I wondering if the problem is texture dimmension... but I donīt know... by now...

Trace say:
CUBE error loading scene file USERDATA\tmpvehicle.scn: Error initializing scene file USERDATA\tmpvehicle.scn
I hope that anyone can help us...

this error is caused by..
1 gmt named wrong or is not in the .mas file, or wrong name spelling in the .gen file
2 did you save it in the right type of gmt.? GTR or rF. simple mistakes will be made..
believe me.. it happens all the time.
for textures.. you will get a texture error, not a gmt or mesh error in the game.

it is best to start only trying to load the car in the spinner..
if having problems.. adding 1 mesh at a time until you get the whole car helps at times..

Thanks for your answer, But sadly, it isn't a solution.
The gmt's are named right and there are in the mas file. And spelling rigth in the .gen file.
I save it as a rFactor gmt (save model data) using 3DSim Ed.
When open it by 3DSim Ed I can watch the mesh.
Surely there same options I donīt know and forget. but I dont know witch one.
