Default Weird Capri-issue! (CTD)

Hi, fellas!

Well, i was back in P&G (as always after a short stint of AC). I've been fiddlin' with P&G for 3-4 years now, adding cars, converting stuff and making championships.

Now the weirdest thing happened! I've done this a thousand times without any issues at all! I'm creating ETCC championships from 1964 to 1972. So i created the classes and all that and came to the Capris of 1971.

Whichever i add my class "tag" to, makes the game CTD with this trace at the end:

Code:
vehgfx.cpp   2587: Entered VehGraphics::Init(GAMEDATA\TEAMS\POWER&GLORY\70'S TOURING\FORD CAPRI\7112F\..\FORD_CAPRI.CAS)
vehgfx.cpp 2631: Unable to read USERDATA\LOG\vehgen.scn: Error loading mesh file DRIVER_HELMET_STYLE45.GMT to memory
vehgfx.cpp   2684: Could not find instance "SLOT000"
Its just the Capris'! I'm running 3.2 at the moment. Never had any issues in 3.1. I've actually copied one of my old backupfolders (..Power&Glory\70's Touring\Ford Capri) into my 3.2 installation to see if that would work. But no...

Any help would be appreciated!

THANKS GTLW for this fantastic mod that just keeps me coming back, no matter AC or PCars or whatever! I always come back to this!

It does not find helmet style 45 so check in capri .cas file the position of helmet style (DRIVER_HELMET_STYLE<XX>.GMT) into car genstring then modify your .car genstring in order to get a working helmet XX number (copy-paste from a working capri)

Thank you but that is easier said than done. P&Gs genstrings have no guide so i dont know what number does what :/ And why am i having this issue with ALL the Capris? Is all genstrings wrong by default by P&G crew?

I will try to be clear :
1) open capri .cas file with notepad or your favorite text editor
2) scroll down till you reach line DRIVER_HELMET_STYLE<XY>.GMT
XY will give you the position into .car genstring
Example: if XY=34 then it means that your driver style is in position 3 & 4
Genstring=ABCDE
3) open capri .car file then go to line genstring= and replace the wrong number 45 by a working one (try a lower number, copy-paste from another car such as mustang or mini)
