Default SBK Generations - Career Mode : Offers from All 2009 Teams Mod

Hello.
I've been a great fan of SBK series since the era of "Superbike World Championship, Superbike 2000 & 2001".
And this time, I edited a small Mod for "SBK Generations".

---------------
* Description *
---------------
- When stating "Career" mode in " SBK Generations", we can choose (only) the following teams as default.

< SBK 2009 Class >

HANNspree Honda Althea
Team Pedercini
PSG1-1 Corse

< WSS 2009 Class >

Kuja Racing
Echo CRS Grand Prix
RES Software Veidec Racing

< STK 2009 Class >
TKR Suzuki Switzerland
MRS Racing
UnionBike Gimotorsports
Race Junior
Yamaha Lorenzini by Leoni

And this Mod makes it possible to choose other teams of SBK, WSS & STK 2009 Season.

- Thanks to LeMic for Mixfile ReMixer.

----------------------------
* Installation & Instruction *
----------------------------
( 1 ) Please do not forget to make a backup of the original "DATA.MIX" file in the following directory.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Milestone\SBKGen\DATA.MIX

( 2 ) Choose the folder which you want to install ( Please refer to the List below ).

- SBK 2009
- WSS 2009

- STK 2009-2

And copy "DATA.MIX" file included in it to the following directory and overwrite the original one.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Milestone\SBKGen\DATA.MIX

( 3 ) Start the game and new "Career", then choose your favorite team.

( 4 ) Save and exit the game and restore "DATA.MIX" to its original.

I may have to dust off the Mix File Remixer and start modding this game again.

Heres a sample of my decal set I made for SBK 2010 for the late season Aprilia RSV-4

and my career rider:

that's awesome both of you guys
I love the latest edition and is imo the best around now.
Does anyone know if it'd be possible to mod it so it would be a proper 2000 Season with the legends added there's a bit of a base for it I think. Lacks proper teams and skins and a few tracks. Dunno about how it would be possbible to bikes and most are car mods around, never seen such thing for a bike game.

I still love the King "Superbike 2000 & 2001" too and hope Milestone will remake them in the future.
And I also hope several more bikes for SBK Legends in the next SBK 2013 title

Thanks, I'm going to make my own YZF-R6 skin with my own number and sponsor and insert myself into the WSS class. I just don't know how to edit rider names.

If anyone would like my .AI file of my decals let me know!

It took alot of photo research to get all three of those decals on the rear mud guard. The image of my set does not include them but my AI file does.

Thanks for your reply and glad to hear about your next plan.
Your own YZF-R6 skin for WSS class with your number sounds really great and I hope to see its screenshots when finished
And if you don't mind, could you please sent me the link of your .AI file via PM ? Of course, I know the rule and will use it personally. If you allow me, I'd like to enjoy your original file

By the way, I'm Yukio Kagayama fan and here are my personal Mods.

Yukio in SBK 2011

Yukio Helmet for career mode and riding Kawasaki lol
(I have to change the suits next time.)

He was Max's teammate when riding ALSTARE Suzuki. So this time, Max and Yukio riding Aprilia may be fun !

Nice work! I'm making my own helmet and leathers too. I did my helemet once. I actually painted my normal maps, or shall I say edited them. Took a lot of color sampling.

I'm giving myself all Alpine Stars gear and a Bell Star helmet.

anyone has Haga 2008 Skin for use in Generations ?
http://www.mcnews.com.au/Wallpaper/Y...e_Haga_RHF.jpg

I'm not sure if it'd be possible to take the SBK 2008 Skin and apply it on the 2009 version in Generations. Models are different ?

PS: Isaac your personal skin looks brilliant

Thanks for your kind reply.
I think it's not easy to edit original helmets without dev. tool, but your helmet looks really beautiful and almost perfect.
And 2008 Haga skin sounds really great too. I'm looking forward to seeing your further progress

There are still missing features in the recent SBK series, which "Superbike 2000 & 2001" had.
I hope Milestone will add those features to the next gen. SBK titles and make them much better

Agreed, it was a great feature and I found this vid on YouTube.

Superbike 2001 (PC GAME) Crash Compilation

Sometimes, a crashed rider was hit by another riders again and again, and unable to return to his bike lol
It was stupid but really fun as SBK simulation. Hope Milestone will add this option once again

I usually edit textures of the helmets directly like the Yukio Helmet pics above, so I missed out this point.
I know the modding way how to unlock all helmets. And I'll edit it as soon as I can. Maybe, I'll post it as a new thread so that everyone can search and find it easily. Please give a little more time.
Thanks for your suggestion

some of the bml files in the mix files must contain info about the drivers. Tommy and I aren't sure about the full linkage of the files but you can give them a shot with a binary editor and play around with the hex.

post them up I'm interesting to see a few of them as they tested SBK aswell, Simoncelli 2009 and a few testies Rossi for example

On a side note I'm not sure how to determine what numbers belong to which drivers. Templates would be great aswell but I'm not sure if there's enough demand for these unfortunately.
Would love to see the Croc Corser.

I think it may be db_pilots.bml but I don't know it's right fiel and I don't know how can I edit this file!
I must change few names:
Jonathan Rea -> Dani Pedrosa
Leon Haslam -> Valentino Rossi
Noriyuki Haga -> Casey Stoner
James Toseland -> Jorge Lorenzo
Michel Fabrizio -> Loris Capirossi
Any ideas?
I change textures of bikes (example I create Repsol Honda) and texture of numbers, but I can't change names of riders.

I think you can that .bml file with HexEdit and play around with the values to change their names. Tommy knows it better likey. I think you need to check whether or not the driving styles fit your new driver.

Ok, I think it's not db_pilots.bml in data.mix but file "common.ztd" or "common.zti". Both files are same (fancy), but I don't know how can I edit ZTD and ZTI files?
Any ideas?

Hi can someone please tell me which file is the custom rider leathers and how to edit it?
Sorry to be a nuisance

So I finally figured out how to edit the custom leathers and I changed the number to 99 like Lorenzo. But when I took those settings online in a multiplayer race all the other players with their own custom riders had number 99
And the main things is they cant even see my leathers. All they see is a just normal bland leathers that is used in the game
I think its corresponding to the files that i on their computer and that is why I see everyone with my custom number as well

Any way to change that?

I'm not sure maybe if you can change your special bike from #78 as default to #99 but I disbelieve you can arrange anything like this online, especially as it isn't intented to use modified content, you could have been booted from multiplayer with changed content anyway so I reject on believing it'd be legally possible to change the skin selections, except for what you see. It will always be just your experience and untouched for others except for modified databases that are shared and exchanged online.

Yeah well that's absurd to not be able to share your changes with the world. Games like iRacing and LockOn Modern Combat, you can use the skins online. Moreover nobody should be kicked just because they have changed the leathers. the game doesnt even have multiplayer replay feature. so im not sure what are you defending here

Hey, guys, just found this thread. Picking up on davetm's question, has anyone converted tracks or circuits from other games that you can race with any of the SBK games, or created new tracks for them? I'm pretty sure several of the SBK 2001 tracks were converted for use in rFactor and GTR2 (Sugo looks VERY familiar), so why couldn't they go the other way? Is there something about the SBK game engines that PREVENTS introducing new circuits? With all of the fantastic modding for our favorite car games, it's been EXTREMELY frustrating over the past 12 years not to have similar riches to enjoy with a motorcycle racing sim.

BUMP!

Anybody know anything about efforts to modify bike physics or add tracks to SBK 2000/2001, SBK08, or any of the more recent versions?

Hi to everyone , does anybody know which bml file and line in hex editor is for traction control in sbk 2011 or sbk generations. This two game dont have traction setup like older sbk 09 and sbkx. Any help about editing traction control in full simulation mode would be great.

Thanks

Wow, someone who's actually interested in modding SBK games!? I'll be following your every move!

Do you have any idea whether or not there's a technical barrier to add-on tracks for these games?

I am good on bike testing but not so in editing and programing, but I will try some modifications to make more real and enjoyable game.
And Yes, TommiTAG is person to follow on this forum, he has big knowledge as some other people involved in editing.

Done some testing, thanks again to TommiTAG
Bold value is number to play. You can start with value 1 and above to adjust it how you prefer it
It is in bikes-playerdata-and any bike you choose. This solves "skid bug" where bike slides even under 4000 rpm

BTW, I sent TommiTAG a PM, asking what else he knows about efforts to mod these games.

If the lines in sbkX and 2011 are the same as in Generations it should work

I don't own either. The last version I bought is SBK08. I'll look and see if there are comparable lines in those bike files.
