Default NAGP Assetto Corsa GT2 Round One Live From Le Mans 9pm Est on NAGPTV!

A new era begins this evening at North American Grand Prix as round one for the all new Assetto Corsa Thursday night GT2 league gets under way this evening from Le Mans.

For those who follow NAGP's GTR2 league, you will will notice a lot of familiar faces who have signed up to compete in our inaugural first season. Former GTR2 champions Chris Moses and Brad Merys are geared up and ready to take a shot at a drivers championship in Assetto Corsa. There are also several new drivers who have signed up looking to leave their mark at NAGP and vie for a championship.

The format for this upcoming season puts an emphasis on strategy for the teams. There will be three cars the teams need to choose from prior to each event, the GT2 versions of the BMW M3, Ferrari 458 and Corvette C6. No team will be able to run the same car again until they have driven all three cars. Each car has their own strengths and weaknesses in terms of straight line speed, braking and handling. The teams will need to plan ahead of time what cars they will be driving based on the schedule. Qualifying will be twenty-five minutes and the race duration will be 250km, roughly 90 minutes depending on the track. Championship points will be awarded to both drivers and teams as well as prizes for the season champions.

You can watch tonight's race live on NAGPTV as Ken Rodriguez brings you complete coverage of qualifying followed immediately after by the 250km race. Coverage from Le Mans begins at 9pm eastern.

After weeks of preparation and test races, we're ready to get the show started. The teams have submitted their entry list for tonight's event. The drivers are anxious and ready to get the season started. Exciting times! We hope you can tune in!

Default NAGP Assetto Corsa GT2 Round Two Live From Imola 9pm Est on NAGPTV!

The North American Grand Prix Thursday night Assetto Corsa GT2 league travels this evening to the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, more commonly know as Imola, for round two of the championship.

The season got off to a great start last week at Le Mans as Jon Ludden took the very first win in NAGP's inaugural Assetto Corsa league. Ludden took the win after starting fourth, leading sixteen of the scheduled seventeen laps. Pole sitter Brad Merys came home in second while Matt Taylor finished on the last step of the podium after starting eighth. It was Ferrari domination as the 458's took four out of the top five finishing positions.

Due to some technical issues getting the session started last week, we were unable to bring you the broadcast as we had hoped to do. However, tonight, NAGPTV will bring you complete coverage of tonight's race from Le Mans beginning at 9pm eastern. The racing kicks off with twenty-five minutes of qualifying followed immediately after by the 250km race.

We hope you can join us for what will surely be an exciting race! Anyone interested in participating in our Assetto Corsa league can learn more here.

Default NAGP Assetto Corsa GT2 Round Three Live From Bathurst 9pm Est on NAGPTV!

Round three of the North American Grand Prix Assetto Corsa GT2 Thursday night league takes place this evening at 9pm eastern from the challenging Bathurst Circuit in Australia.

Last week at Imola, David Poel took his first victory of the season after a spirited battle with pole sitter Chris Moses. The two drivers were separated by only tenths of a second for much of the first stint. After the pit stops cycled through, Moses exited the pit lane just ahead of Poel and their close battle continued for most of the second half of the race. Contact between Moses and a lapped car allowed Poel to squeak by late. Poel went on to take the victory, Moses finished the race in second and Brad Merys claimed final podium position.

The Corvettes dominated every session at Imola, snatching pole position and taking the top five finishing positions. Jon Ludden was the first non Chevrolet powered car to finish in the top ten finishing sixth in the BMW M3.

After two rounds, Brad Merys leads the drivers championship by two points over Jon Ludden 39 - 37. In the team championship, it's nearly a dead heat as Robber's Dog Racing leads overall with 41 points. Only three points separate the top five teams in the championship!

We invite you to tune in this evening to NAGPTV for complete coverage of round three from Bathurst. The racing begins at 9pm eastern with 25 minutes of qualifying followed immediately after by the 250km race.

Bathurst will be the first true test of ability this season for the drivers in Assetto Corsa. The slightest mistake up the mountain could prove costly. It's going to be a thrilling race! We hope you can tune in for the broadcast.

We hope you can join us for what will surely be an exciting race! Anyone interested in participating in our Assetto Corsa league can learn more here.

Default NAGP Assetto Corsa GT2 Round Four Live From Silverstone 9pm Est on NAGPTV!

The North American Grand Prix Thursday night Assetto Corsa GT2 league will be at the historic Silverstone Circuit in England this evening for round four of the championship.

Last week was a true test for the drivers as they took on the daunting Mount Panorama Circuit in Australia. Finishing the race was the goal for much of the field. A few drivers found themselves in trouble early as contact with the barriers forced drivers in for unscheduled pit stops in addition to some early retirements.

For those who managed to stay out of trouble they were rewarded with a good result. Andres Prieto and pole sitter Jon Ludden were involved in an epic battle in the first stint. The two exchanged positions early in the race and remained just tenths of a second apart for much of the first stint. The two displayed an early pace that the rest of the field struggled to match. Ludden ran into trouble during his pit stop giving up second place to Al Marimon. The mishap cleared the way for Prieto to cruise to victory twenty seconds over Marimon who finished second. Ludden grabbed the final step on the podium. Brad Merys recovered nicely after an unscheduled stop to finish fourth while Jeremy Bryant managed to pull off a last lap pass on Tomas Schubeck to finish fifth.

NAGPTV will be your home for complete coverage of tonight's 250km race from Silverstone. The broadcast begins at 9pm eastern with twenty-five minutes of qualifying followed immediately after by the 42 lap race.

Things are really heating up as we head into round four. Jon Ludden is hanging on to a slim one point lead over Brad Merys for the drivers championship. Meanwhile, the team championship is neck and neck between the top five in the standings. It's going to be a great night of racing. We hope you can tune in!

We hope you can join us for what will surely be an exciting race! Anyone interested in participating in our Assetto Corsa league can learn more here.

Default NAGP Assetto Corsa GT2 Round Five Live From Spa 9pm Est on NAGPTV!

The North American Grand Prix Assetto Corsa GT2 championship returns to the track this evening for round six from the historic Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium.

Chris Moses captured his first Assetto Corsa league victory last week at Silverstone after an epic forty-two lap battle with second place finisher David Poel. Moses took the checkered flag a mere two tenths ahead of Poel. Brad Merys claimed the final step on the podium finishing twenty-one seconds behind the leader.

After four rounds, Brad Merys leads the drivers championship by five points over Jon Ludden. In the closely contested team championship, 05 Motorsport has taken over the top spot over Robber's Dog Racing. Only four points are separating the top four teams in the championship!

We invite you to tune in this evening to NAGPTV for complete coverage of round five from Spa. Coverage of tonight's event begins at 9pm eastern with qualifying followed immediately after by the thirty-five lap race.

The racing in GT2 this season has been incredibly close and championships are even closer. We hope you will tune in for what will surely be another dramatic race to the checkered flag!

Default NAGP Assetto Corsa GT2 Round Six From Red Bull Ring 9pm Est on NAGPTV!

The North American Grand Prix Thursday night Assetto Corsa GT2 league returns to the track this evening for round six of the championship from the Red Bull Ring in Austria.

Last week at Spa-Francorchamps, Chris Moses took his second straight win of the season out-dueling Brad Merys in what turned out to be a shortened round five after technical issues ended the race after 31 laps. Merys, who led much of the first stint suffered aero damage after his pit stop leaving him off the pace in comparison to his rivals. Moses and Eiran Parsons managed to overtake Merys early in the second stint and the two remained out front until the race ended prematurely. The race was called official giving Moses the win. Eiran Parsons took second in his best finish to date and Brad Merys took the final step of the podium. Pole sitter Andres Prieto was forced to start from the pit lane after he was unable to get his car ready in time to take the grid. Prieto drove from the back of the grid to take fifth. A very impressive result for the Colombian.

NAGPTV will be your home for complete coverage of tonight's race from the Red Bull Ring. The broadcast will begin at 9pm eastern with qualifying followed immediately after by the 250km race.

With our inaugural Assetto Corsa season half way completed, Brad Merys is our front runner in the driver championship with 92 points. John Ludden sits second with 84 points and Chris Moses has moved himself up to 3rd with 71 points after two successive wins.

The team championship after five rounds is led by Precision Motor Racing who currently hold on to a slim two point lead over second place Suspect Speed Racing. Robber's Dog Racing is third four points back.

Still a lot of exciting racing left in Season I. We hope you can join the broadcast for what will surely be another thrilling event!

Default NAGP Assetto Corsa Round Seven Live From Mugello 9pm Est on NAGPTV!

The next stop for the North American Grand Prix Assetto Corsa GT2 league will be this evening at the Mugello Circuit as the series visits the demanding Italian track for round seven of the championship.

Brad Merys got the monkey off of his back last week after winning for the first time this season at the Red Bull Ring in dominating fashion. Merys began the night qualifying on pole position edging out championship rival Jon Ludden. The start of the race it looked as though Merys would be in for a tough night as Ludden managed to overtake Merys early in the first lap. Ludden however got it all wrong later on in the opening lap, losing control of his Corvette in turn eight and handing the lead back over to Merys. From that moment onward, Merys consistently pounded out laps quicker than his closest competitors building up a sizeable lead in the process. Merys finished the race on top, fifteen second ahead of second place Matt Taylor. Al Marimon grabbed the final podium position twenty seconds behind the leader.

After seven rounds of the championship, Brad Merys leads the quest for the driver title with 92 points. Jon Ludden is second with 84 points and Chris Moses sits third with 71 points.

In the team championship, Precision Motor Racing holds a slim two point lead over Suspect Speed Racing 97 to 95. Robber's Dog Racing, in third, remains very much in contention with 93 points.

We invite you to tune in to NAGPTV this evening beginning at 9pm eastern as we bring you complete coverage of round seven from Mugello. The night of racing begins with twenty-five minutes of qualifying followed immediately after by the 250km race.

As the season moves closer to the end, every point is critical towards the championships. The racing continues to be as close and exciting as ever. It's going to be a great night, we hope you can join the broadcast!

Default NAGP Assetto Corsa Round Eight Live From Macau 9pm Est on NAGPTV!

In what will most certainly be the leagues toughest challenge to date, round eight of the North American Grand Prix Assetto Corsa GT2 league takes place this evening on the tight streets of Macau.

Last week at Mugello, Ian Jolicoeur fended off a late threat from Chris Moses in the closing laps of the race and in the process snatched his first career Assetto Corsa league win. Jolicoeur led 42 of the scheduled 47 laps and finished the race one and a half seconds ahead of second place Moses. Al Marimon took the final step on the podium just over five seconds back.

NAGPTV will be your home for complete coverage of tonight's race from Macau. The evening begins at 9pm eastern with twenty-five minutes of qualifying followed immediately after by the 250km race.

To leave Macau with points will be important for those in title contention given the nature of the circuit. This is especially true for the drivers championship leader Brad Merys and the team championship leader Precision Motor Racing. For the spectators, tonight's broadcast will certainly be entertaining. For the drivers, well, that will all depend on the outcome. We hope you can tune in!

Default NAGP Assetto Corsa GT Round Four Live From Donington 9pm Est on NAGPTV!

The North American Grand Prix Thursday night Assetto Corsa GT league returns to action this evening for round four of the championship from Donington.

Brad Merys took his first win of the season last week at donington after hard fought battle with second place finisher David Poel. Along with pole sitter Jeremy Bryant, the three battled nose to tail for much of the first stint. Poel managed to get in front of Merys after pit stops but a pass on lap thirty one by Merys on Poel was enough to earn Merys the victory by three seconds over second place Poel. Jeremy Bryant took the final step of the podium to earn him his best finish to date.

Be sure to tune into NAGPTV this evening for live coverage of round four from Donington. The racing begins at 9pm eastern with twenty five minutes of qualifying followed immediately after by the sixty lap race.

The championships in both the driver and team classifications remain very close. No driver or team has yet to be able to distance themselves from the rest of the field. Could tonight be that night? We hope that you tune in to find out!

Default NAGP Assetto Corsa GT Round Five Live From Spa 9pm Est on NAGPTV!

The North American Grand Prix Assetto Corsa GT Thursday league takes to the track this evening for round five of the championship from the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.

Last week at Donington, Jon Ludden powered his Nissan GTR to his second win of the season and in doing so, increased his overall lead in the drivers championship. Ludden took control of the race after passing race leader Al Marimon on lap six. Despite the added success ballast and fuel concern, Ludden managed to maintain a ten second gap over second place for most of the race and crossed the finish with hardly any fuel left in the tank. Marimon finished the race in second in his Mercedes SLS, fending off a late charge from Eiran Parsons in the Aston Martin to finish third in his season II debut.

Heading into the mid-season classic at Spa, Jon Ludden leads the driver championship with 86 points. Brad Merys is second with 63 points and right behind him is David Poel with 62 points.

In the team championship, Suspect Speed Racing's Brad Merys and Jeremy Bryant lead with 118 points. Robber's Dog Racing is right behind with 114 points, 05 Motorsport and Gotta Go, Bye! are tied for third with 87 points.

We invite you to tune into NAGPTV this evening for complete coverage of tonight's race from Spa beginning at 9pm eastern. The night of racing kicks off with 25 minutes of open qualifying followed immediately after by the 250km/35 lap race to the checkered flag.

Thursday night round five at Spa has been a tradition at NAGP for nearly ten years. We're excited to carry that tradition over into Assetto Corsa. We hope you can join us on the broadcast!

Default NAGP AC GT Round Six Live From Road America 9pm Est on NAGPTV!

The North American Grand Prix Thursday night Assetto Corsa GT series returns to action this evening for round six of the championship from Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.

Last week for the mid-season classic at Spa-Francorchamps, Andrew Werner claimed his first win of the season scoring maximum points for round five and in the process, helped elevate his 05 Motorsport team into contention in the team championship.

The win for Werner did not come easy, after claiming pole in qualifying, Werner found himself on the outside looking in being shuffled back to third after the start. Alfonso Rodriguez got out to an early lead but lost a couple positions after an off at the bus stop. Brad Merys took over the lead and looked to be cruising to his seasons second win, however, a technical failure saw Merys drop from the race on lap nineteen. Werner took over the lead of the race from then on, holding off intense pressure from second place finisher Jeremy Bryant and ultimately going on to take the win under a second ahead of Bryant. Alfonso Rodriguez finished the race in third, a bit disappointed no doubt after leading early.

We invite you to join Ken Rodriguez on NAGPTV this evening starting at 9pm eastern for complete coverage of round six from Road America. The racing begins with twenty-five minutes of open qualifying followed immediately after by the 250km race.

As we begin the second half of the season, the fight for both the driver and team championships remain too close to call. It's going to be great to see how the championships begin to unfold starting tonight at Road America. We hope you can join us!

Default NAGP Assetto Corsa GT Round Seven Live From Mugello 9pm Est on NAGPTV!

The North American Grand Prix Thursday night Assetto Corsa league resumes action this evening with round seven of the championship from the Mugello circuit in Italy.

Brad Merys took home his second win of the season last week after a stellar performance at Road America. Merys began his night on pole position, edging out John Ludden by two tenths. Merys then backed up his qualifying performance by quickly getting out to an early and never looking back. Merys led all thirty-eight laps earning maximum points for round six. John Ludden finished second, fifteen seconds behind Merys while Al Marimon took home third, forty seconds behind the leader.

We invite you to join Ken Rodriguez on NAGPTV this evening starting at 9pm eastern for complete coverage of tonight's event from Mugello. The racing begins with twenty-five minutes of open qualifying followed immediately after by the 250km race.

Mugello's fast and tricky second sector is sure to challenge the competitors this evening. We're expecting another great race in GT. We hope you can join us on the broadcast!

Default NAGP Assetto Corsa GT Round Eight Live From Bathurst 9pm Est on NAGPTV!

The schedule's toughest challenge to date awaits the drivers of season II as the North American Grand Prix Assetto Corsa GT series competes at Bathurst this evening for round eight of the championship.

Last week at Mugello, Jeremy Bryant stole the show claiming his second pole position of the season and went on to cap the night off with his first ever NAGP victory. Bryant, in the Ferrari, fended off serious pressure from Viper driver Ronny Nunez for most of the race as the two were within a second of each other throughout the night. Fuel issues caused Nunez's potential podium finish fall short on the last lap ending his race in fifth. A relatively quite night for Jon Ludden as the Nissan driver finished second as a result of Nunez's misfortune. Andrew Werner took home the final podium position in the Corvette C6.

After seven rounds of the championship, Jon Ludden holds on to an eighteen point lead in the driver standings over second place Jeremy Bryant. Al Marimon is third, thirty-two points behind. In the team championship, Suspect Speed Racing's Brad Merys and Jeremy Bryant hold a twenty-two point advantage over Robber's Dog Racing's Jon Ludden and Bjoern Hehmann. David Poel and Andrew Werner of 05 Motorsport are forty-seven points behind the leaders.

We invite you to join Ken Rodriguez on NAGPTV this evening beginning at 9pm eastern for complete coverage of tonight's race from Bathurst. The racing begins with twenty-five minutes of open qualifying followed immediately after by the 40 lap race.

Tonight's race will no doubt be one of the most difficult challenges of the season. For the front runners, it will just be a matter of staying out of trouble and coming away with points. It's going to be an amazing racing. Don't miss it!!
