Greetings. I recently installed RBR (clean "vanilla" DVD (C) 2004) and was wondering if someone could list the mods, updates, additional car and track packs and patches and where I can find them.
Much obliged. |

I'd recommend RSRBR2012, this mod has a huge amount of the addons already included, and also allows on-line Racing too.
http://forum.rallyesim.fr/index.php Here is a detailed set of tutorials for installing and running RSRBR: http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/...delines.12743/ http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/...on-line.12983/ There is also a Czech Mod which is highly rated, but I have no experience with it. http://rbr.onlineracing.cz/index.php...g&p=howtostart |

Good Day,
Wanna ride this thread. Can we not just add one mod, say just one car, to our original RBR? Can we just have a audio mod to make the cars sound more realistic and distinct to one another? Can we just add one track that we like? RSRBR 2012 is like a shotgun mod, either you use all of it or none of it. I find that a little too selfish somehow. I really don't need "everything" in RSRBR, I don't even like the way one has to go thru to install it. Sorry but I don't race online as well. Is there any site, anywhere, from which we can get add on for RBR? For me, I'd like to have the Lancia and the AE86 cars, and Pike's Peak track. And of course the respective real sounds of the cars. That's all I ever wanted to put in my RBR. Is there a way of getting them mods I like without having to patronize RSRBR? Thanks and more power. JPO |

![]() Yes. That all does work, although some things (cars especially) have to be replaced. But if you know about windows file structure it's not hard to swap cars manually (I can do it, so it really isn't hard to do )Cars are in RBR\Cars . Cars.ini is the list of the 7 cars that are selectable ingame. Some mods supply what you have to put here, for example the AC Cobra mod Quote:
Physics are in RBR\physics.rbz . Extract it with 7zip or other program to create physics folder RBR\physics . If you have replace [car02] with the Cobra you have to put the physics folder from the AC Cobra mod into that folder and rename it to "mg_zr" Then launch RBR and select the MG ZR car ingame. I remember I wrote about sounds installation somewhere here on NG but can't find that post anymore ![]() Tracks are easier to install if they use the RBR_RX.dll plugin (supplied by some add-on tracks, place in RBR\RX_Content ) . Just place them in RBR\RX_Content\Tracks folder and select them ingame through Options -> Plugins -> RBR_RX -> Race , then select the track name. Well, once you have done it once it's much easier then my explanation! ![]() Another important mod with more savable set-ups and some fixes is the FixUp plug-in http://www.nogripracing.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=252130 . Version 1.5 is in that thread, version 1.7 is the newest version. Quote:
But if anyone got some good links to mods please post them here
