Game Stock Car update

A new version of Game Stock Car updating it to the 2012 Stock Car season, complete with revamped shaders and textures, new models, new content, and some other goodies. Pretty much a brand new game...

And it will be free of charges.

I actually like the fact that they're taking the time to get the maximum out of it. I wish all the developers would take this approach prior to 'abandoning' one engine for another, without benefit.

I can understand it if they we're generating extra income for their future products on a new engine, but all this effort to give us this for free is amazing

If you haven’t purchased the game yet you can download a 30 minute free demo from the GSC website or directly purchase it for only $29,90 here.

The PC Game Stock Car 2012 upgrade will be released this month as a free update to all owners of the current game.

Hopefully normal-dls are out soon. And they definitely should use other sites for news also than FB only. Millions of ppl, like me, doesn't use FB(and never will, like Torrents), so it's worthless to to publish something in there only.

And is this patch for present installation of GSC or replacement for whole stuff?
(do you have to uninstall old one or just overwrite?)

As far as I know, its a completely fresh install. New users will get 60 minutes of free play from the demo, those that have purchased GSC will get it for free.

For those of you who have Game Stock Car, you can get your Free download of the New Game Stock Car 2012 here: http://www.game-stockcar.com.br/demo.html . For digital, use the 2nd row of mirrors. The first is slow & busy. Also, you can copy over the 3 tracks, ( the ones Alex made ), from the old game to the new. I made a new install, wasn't sure if you could overrite the old game. The new 2012 seems to have all tracks etc. that the old one had. Happy Racing!!!!!!!! Also, here's another site with answers i found from Alex about the new game.

Is it just me or has this sim got a far better feel to it then Rfactor, GTR2, and GTR Evo? The FFB feels amazing! I really want to thank the developers for releasing this for free, not often seen in this day and age. Brilliant work and a must buy for any race sim junkie.

managed to get brazilian spotter and dynHUD working now. Too bad the brazilian spotter pack lacks some of the sounds so I had to go with English first to fill up.

Great to hear rfDynHUD is working on GSC. Would you care to share how you got it working?

There was a slight revised version of the DynHUD working, overall the rF Version works out of the box aswell, you just have to specify the corresponding reference in the ini file to read GSC.exe instead of rFactor.exe and have anything related in the GSC Folder. Works like a charm, just have to get rid of the Map and unfortunately there's no Stock Car Brasil Transitions for it yet because prunn doesn't seem to be available anymore.

The Spotter lacks the Driver Names unfortunately but is amazing otherwise.

The F1 add-on of the dynhud has some problems (and some poeple have problems on the standard version too).
For me, from 20 drivers online, the game crashes.
