For all the "realism" modern shooters claim to have, I find that to be quite a flaw.

Edit: I guess there are such things, BF2 and ARMA it seems.
Anyone know of any others?
Do the older Rainbow Six games count as 'modern'? I'm pretty sure they used magazines.
Red Orchestra too I think, both the mod and standalone game as well as the sequel use individual clips for the rifles.

Edit: Another realism flaw is of course taking half a dozen 7.62mm rounds to the head only to walk it off or get a quick defibrillation.

That's true, there are still a lot of unrealistic things left.
Death, for one.
People don't go "ouch" on a first and second bullet to the legs, and then suddenly drop dead to a third.

To be honest, I wouldn't want to play a shooter that is "perfectly" realistic.
I've never heard a war veteran say "whee, I wanna go again. When will the sequal be released?".

Best to remember, it's just a game. Like how every little boy plays with his toy soldiers.

Going back to the magazine question. ArmA II mods like DayZ and Iron Front use individual magazines too. I can't recall if Far Cry/Far Cry 2 do as well but I have a feeling they do not.

In the spirit of 'random wibblings' I got bitten by a snake today, my fault for wearing thongs* really. This being Australia I got somewhat worried and rushed to the hospital but luckily all is well.

Next years candidate from Belgium is freakin' gay.
I don't mean the homosexual type of gay, more the justine bieber type of gay.

Here, you'll get it if you watch.

We've got so many better artists to send.
Sometimes I think we're TRYING to make an ass out of ourselves.
Which is relevant to the gay part, I guess...

Presumably you refer to the character, if they gave comps to everyone taller than the actor they wouldn't make any profit.

I know you're a grumpy old git but isn't the height of the actor the last thing you should be complaining about? I mean, Martin Freeman is more than 4 ft tall but he still makes a good hobbit...

I doubt if anyone is a good enough actor to make up 10" of simple physical presence.

You're completely right.

Regardless of height Tom Cruise is a talentless moron with no charisma or personality who can barely claim to be an actor. A sore on the backside of cinema.

As for Hobbits...........they were unable to make a good Hobbit movie. That's why they split it into 3 parts. So no Martin Freeman doesn't make a good Hobbit and Peter Jackson certainly doesn't either. Again height is not the issue. Talentless morons soiling my viewing experience is the main problem.

Default Bugrit! Millenium hand and shrimp!

My back was painful and there was an hour before the TV program I wanted to watch. So I went to lie flat for a bit. Woke up three hours later.

It's not often that I hear about a chronic insomniac that overslept...
I'm not quite sure how to respond to that either... Congratulations?

Dear people of the world.

Stop using "fail" as a noun. It pisses me off.
It's a verb, use it as such.

Also, you do not "hate on". You "hate".

Indeed. Here's a couple more grammar-related errors that.. well, sucks.

"Aswell" .. that's two words. Write them apart. "As" and "well". As well. Yes.
"Alot" .. that is also two words. "A lot".

"Should of, could of, would of" .. what? It's should HAVE. Would have, could have, should have.

"Their", "they're", and "there" are frequently mixed together since some people don't seem to know the difference. "Their" describes a possession, as in "They took their belongings and ran off". "They're" is a shortened down "they are", as in "they are running off". "There" describes a location. "They ran over there" *points somewhere random*

I'm probably missing a couple of them, but yeah. Those are the ones that bother me the most.

PPM Fest this weekend, I can hardly wait.
Last minute warning for all the metalheads here: get your tickets while they're still hot people.
