netKar Pro 1.3 final hanging load screen "shadow.nko"

I am back, trying out netKar Pro again after a long break.

After installing, I am stuck at the track load screen, indicating the loading of "shadow.nko".

The interesting bit is, that I can actually drive (I hear the sounds and shifting, gas, break do work), but I am visually stuck at the load screen.

What could be the issue with this?

Further troubleshooting shows, that I can use "F3" to go into track cam mode and fully race the car around the track - just not in cockpit cam.

The moment, I switch back to cockpit cam, it is as the image freezes to the last frame displayed, before switching to cockpit cam.

The game runs normally except the broken cockpit cam.

I can go back to track cam at any time - the game does not crash or freeze otherwise - just cockpit cam.

… any pointers, what I could try?

I had the same issue after bringing my PC out of hibernation and a reboot fixed it. You may also try to delete any profile you might have.

Try disabling hibernation in Windows:
cmd > powercfg /h off

In the end, I uninstalled and reinstalled several times and at some point, it just worked

I am running netKar Pro with CrossOver on Mac OS X Lion, so probably the hibernation settings are not available.

Hint: once you have it running ok, make sure to make a copy of your bottle (CrossOver "disk image" file). That's what I did and not only is it handy for saving your bacon when things unexpectedly go awry, but also very handy to copy to another system later on.

That's a very good tip for CrossOver!

I found, that it works quite well actually, but it looks, like I am getting more serious again.
I have built a triple 26" screen setup with racing seat and will receive a Frex H-shifter, once Shige has finished it.
A local supplier makes me at the moment an assertion of different rate springs, I will test out in the G25 pedals, while I am browsing the internet to find a nice Ø320mm racing wheel.

I will look into either upgrading my G25 wheel or exchanging it for a Fanatec CSR Elite (I am currently running GT5 and Forza 4, so the Fanatec wheel would put an end to using a game pad for Forza).

I will look, how Assetto Corsa does and will see, if building a PC again for this setup is reasonable.

Unfortunately, it has been mentioned, that AC will not support multi monitor racing from built 1.0 on.
CrossOver is very limiting and a bit more demanding in tweaking, just to make it run on a Mac.
I will likely not buy a CrossOver license, once the 2 week trial runs out.

Good night!!'m Struggling because I downloaded the game, walked 02 laps and decided to buy the key. Everything ok until al. I got the key, and now I enter the game, but I can not do anything else. Ok much everything on the menu mode OFF: select car, track and avanção to put locks on the screen above. What should I do, or I did not get through to this step.
