There is someone working on the Imp, and also Butch, who recently released the TR4 is working on an Aston DB4 as well.

There are a lot of self taught car modellers but if you've never use a 3D modelling package it wont be simple. You also need to be able to create the physics files. In terms of software you only need Wordpad for this but you ned a great deal of information and understanding on how the physics work. But if you make the car I'm sure you'll probably get help in terms of physics. |

There's a free (older) version available, you can download it from their site
![]() However, I don't know much about how to work on that though. 50 euro's is not much, 3DS Max is much more expensive. After making the polygons in Z-modeller you need various other programs. You need something to colour your models too (like Adobe or PaintShop Pro). After doing the polys and smacking on the color, your model is finished and you'll need to import it into GTL. Biggest problem in GTL is that all original files are encrypted So really nobody does know exactly how to work out any physics. I mean, you wouldn't want your freshly produced Lambo Miura to behave like a Ford Falcon....:p Meanwhile some add-on cars are available, so a tutorial might follow. Good news about this is, that all the physics-editing is done by WordPad, which is a standard-delivery on all Windows editions.:roflmao: Just wish we could see the original files in Word-Pad, all you get is jibberish. We could learn mighty much from those ones! |

Have you guys seen the latest issue of autosimsport?
http://autosimsport.teamssm.net/ Check out the car list for the Power & Glory mod for GTR2, the GTC65 and GT70's cars are going to be fantastic with several variations available too, like an alfa 1300cc and 1600cc etc. Also check out the phenomenal '70's Sportscars Mod' that is coming out around xmas...it looks amazing and drool worthy with F512's, Porsche 917's and Lolas etc...absolute 7th Heaven:cool: |

With a bit of modification, the Power & Glory cars will work in GTL. We do intend to produce a GTL version of the mod. GTR2 is getting priority because it offers wet weather and customisable championships for example, but we realise the main audience for the mod is the GTL community. Its just hard to know how many GTL fans don't have GTR2.
The WSC70 cars would need more effort to work in GTL. I think the CSGT team have talked about producing their cars for GTL. |

I think most GTL fans have GTR2 cause it's the only way we can have mods...until recently.
GTR2 or not I think GTL getting this mod will be cool as the cars suit and it means we don't have to switch games / buy GTR2 if we don't have it. It's all about GTL's come back at the mo so don't get left behind.

I just bought GTR2 for that very reason. I didn't really want it but saw no option if I wanted to 'improve' my personal enjoyment of GTL. |

Nah... the Lola T70 would only be able to compete against the McLaren.
I'd go for some more competition in TC-65. Usually, the TC-65 server is most busy online. I'd like to get rid of some of those nasty Alfas. There's just too much of them :p But IMHO it is the best (public) server to be in! Hope we get a wide-arched Mini to cane the lot of them .Or an Imp to give 'em some. Or a Beetle, for all I care. Or a Fiat 500 Abarth (I'll drive it :roflmao or whatever!Any ideas? Maybe the Anglia will kick some :headspin: |

One I really miss is the BMW 1800TIsa.A magazine of the time called it the"four-door Ferrari ".I don't understand why this wasn't in the original game, especially being a well-known car. With fat tyres on wide steel wheels, they looked the biz.

Here's my list: Fiat 500 Abarth (or a Steyr Puch 650TR, that would be good too) ![]() Mini with wide wheels and flares (and a bit more OOMPHH), also in Australia and Italian (Innocenti) version, here's the OZ one: ![]() We NEEEEEEED a VW Beetle here: ![]() And we should have some more RWD/Rear engined stuff too NSU TT/TTS and Hillman Imp: ![]() |

I said it before, Opel Manta
Up until 1975, the Opel Manta coupe dominated the showroom stock class. Although not the most powerful, it was fastest on track, and dominated the class, and was banned from SCCA showroom stock racing. The Opel 1900 Sedan, however, was still allowed entry. Kliest |

I don't really see the Cit DS as a racing car
.But then again, who'd have thunk the 2cv could be turned into a racer? There ya go,how about a 2cv?Another one I always fancied was the Alfa TZ1.Not terribly succesful,I believe, but what a looker!http://www.automotiveblogger.net/wp-...o_tz1_02_m.jpg Or for our French friends, how about a Matra Bonnet Djet5:http://www.k2.dion.ne.jp/~m_lucky/LO...G/06032002.jpg A few more: Bizzarini Strada GT Iso Grifo Maserati Ghibli or more down to earth: Fiat 1500S Fiat abarth OT series, based on the 850: http://www.slot-center.com/images/01...t2000jam01.jpg DKW Junior or even a 3=6,they sound great! Bmw 700 coupe Opel Commodore 2.6 HS Kadett coupe Oh,they are thousands of choices.......If only I knew how to do it .

He is right in the fact that the DS was never a succesful track-car.
It was VERY GOOD in rallying, but note that the car on the top is a bit shorter than the normal DS. This is because this car has a Citroën SM - chassis, I think it also has the V6 Maserati engine...? 2CV's are cooooooollll.... I've seen them race (Eendencross in Holland). I doubt if they could catch my Fiat 500, though!

Would be a good one, except that we probably have no data on those cars as they are pretty rare (except the Lotus Seven). It would be a helluva job to make that one a realistic sim. And then, who is to sa if it would be realistic...

The problem is there are only a few people interested in modelling old cars, and if we can only have a limited number of new cars then most people would prefer them to complement the cars already in GTL rather than try to cover a different era. We should all try to learn 3DSMax, then we might get further than a wishlist

If Blimey throws "Projetc Ferrari" with the same Motor ISI 2.0 I believe that we will have several old Ferraris converted for GTL. Besides Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa!!!
