Default P&G Patcher gave me back GTR2 :)

I haven't played vanilla GTR2 in a looooong time because I can't stand the FFB. Despite all the great mods, tracks, cars, etc, I just could not stand the FFB. It totally ruined the game and all mods...

But I LOVE the FFB of P&G. So today (why didn't I think of this sooner?) I applied the P&G FFB patch to my regular GTR2 install.

Thank You Thank You Thank You to the P&G Team

Not only did you give us the best GTL mod, you gave me back GTR2

Wow, you guys are seriously insane! What do the rest of NGs members think... on par with SIMBIN'S GTR2002 Mod for GTR?? I say "hell ya", and look where they ended up! Amazing work guys, nothing more to say except this is pretty much the only mod I play now-a-days!

2.1 installed right first time guys, thanks very much. Nice Langchecks too.

Only issue is that now my TransAm Shelby Mustangs (http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=16683 and http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=16681) don't show up the showroom any more.

Do I have to modify something to make them compatible with v.2.1 ???

I just have a look at the files as I can't try it right now (I'm at work). Doesn't seem to me that you need to do something specific to make it work, although your cars are organized in a different way.

I'll have a look later at home, or maybe some other member of the team can tell you what's going on

The roadster add-ons aren't part of the 2.1 release, are they? I didn't get round to dling them before.

Update is great ,love the 906-8. Is it OK to delete all the PGbu files. It looks like the installer backed up all the files it updates instead of overwriting them.I like to keep the installation as clean as possible.

Thanks.

yes the update does a backup of the files it should change and names them PGbu.
If you need to uninstall the update (for whatever reason) then it will use the PGbu files to bring your installation back to a clean 2.0

If, you still think you'll never need to uninstall, then go ahead, do a *.PGbu search into your P&G directory and simply erase the results.

Hi, firstly thanks for PnG2 which is great.

I've tried to install the new update but although pointing the install path to the correct folder, in my case C:\Program Files\PnG2", i'm getting an error message "please select the folder where PnG2/GTR2 is installed".

I carnt remember the method used to install PnG2 originally, but i think it copied the files over from my GTR2 install.

Any help welcome

Thanks
