firstly the other account that I banned

let me say that the dupe account check is pretty foolproof, if it catches you there is no doubt you are using the same PC

lets have a look at what sabineschmidt posted shall we

claiming sabineschmidt was the wife trying to defend you, I'm sorry but it doesn't look like the wife is defending you at all, just someone trying to stir up trouble and give a contributing member of the site grief for providing game content within our site rules, and in fact marco didn't even post in that same topic with his normal account.

finally a couple of weeks ago marco posted a topic in the Shift2 forum linking to content we dont allow, and when people told him this his response was

again under the delusion that by making critical posts in relation to nothing, somehow I have slighted his wife.. personally I don't think it was the wife at all, and thats just some delusion thought up to justify being mad at getting caught out.

I wonder did he ever bother to read the rules though, which clearly state no dupe accounts, so even if he is being partly truthful and it was the wife, allowing her to ignore the rules and then watching as she made inflammatory posts, it has to be obvious what the outcome of that would be?
(note, as I'm sure other staff will testify, you would not belief some of the lies we are told when people try to wiggle out of being caught with dupe accounts, like the linked guy / girl accounts who had never met but eventually after many months the guy admitted he was both users over on gamers crib)

finally, the post in this thread which I quoted at the start of my post, which CX gave an infraction for and ended up as a 7-day ban under totting up.. the response to which was this

Instead of acknowledging that you did something wrong and thinking "well what's an infraction anyway, it's just something in virtual internet space" and continue with your everyday life, you start posting death threats? Is that how things are done these days in our society?
