Brno GTR2 for rFactor by Baule

Automotodrom Brno v1.0 converted from GTR2

NOTE: Since this track has been converted from GTR2 you need the original GTR2-game for the installation. I know some of you won't be very happy about that but I respect SimBin's work and it's the only legal way to release the track for rFactor!
If the installation aborts although you have the original GTR2-disc in your CD/DVD drive please comment.

FEATURES:

- full working start- and pitlights
- nightlights
- updated CAM and AIW
- some updated textures
- loading screen by Taku

Please do not post/host this download without the file checking installer present.

UPDATE: Brno v1.1

- fixed gravel-textures in DX7 and DX8 mode

UPDATE: Brno v1.2

- new textures for trees and grass
- fixed some flickering trees
- fixed AI not slowing down before entering the pitlane
- improved shadows
- gravel pits now have more realistic resistance
- moved the timing-objects in the right position
- followed Niels_at_Home's plea and changed the relevant *.tdf-values
- made a new installer, finally including all GTR2 versions (Thanks go to CoDan!)
- fixed some minor issues

Please delete Brno v1.1 (including "BrnoGP.hat") before installing v1.2.

Can I ask how/if I can use this? I have GTR-2, but through steam and I can't get it to install because I don't have a physical DVD of it in my DVD drive

Could it be that you mean GTR Evolution?
There is no steam version of GTR2 at all.

create an iso of your dvd run the iso and there you have your dvd running

Would love to use this track, But cant as I run Rfactor off the Rfactor CD version and I need the CD in the drive to run Rfactor, So I cant have both Rfactor and GTR2 CDs in the drive at the same time.

You only need the GTR2 CD\DVD for the initial install not every time you run the track.

Without written consent from Simbin your stealing anyways..........so my advise to those morally grounded is not to download period..........its illegal to install this with or without DVD. Personally I won't lose any sleep eitherway. the original developers were paid and aren't getting any royalty checks so nobody's stealing food out of anybody's mouths

thank you very much,now i like rFactor,many best mods(f1 or others style),many best tracks,i'm GTR2 fun but the probleme is they are not all what i want,for example,mellbourne 2011 track,i have download it and install,but when i want to play i have message mas file error,still i download rFactor,now i play all what i download,sorry GTR2 team,please don't be angry,but i must say it.the only problem i have with rFactor was steering wheel driving with mouse;so i search

and i found it and now i play rFactor wjth mouse steering+keyboard,very nice.

Now i play only rFactor,no one have ask me something to install this track or this mod or anythings,and quality of mods and tracks are best,i look in home page every day,GTR2 (new skins is 90%)-(10% for track and mod).
all others games give the new files,so don't spook in the name of GTR2,and i don't mean it me who take GTR2 name.

Just google rfactor.no-ip after finding the site navigate to the rfactor1 menu, goto tracks then search for brno. There is about 8 versions available.
