Hello,
Does anyone know of any tools that we can use to let us stream a live race to a website. When people crash out of the race many would like to watch the rest of the race even if they dont carry on competing in it. I was wondering if there was something like a spectator camera utility that can be added which could then stream to a video on any website. Cheers Martin |

Ah, sorry I forgot about that. I use WebCamMax which acts as a virtual webcam. You can have it "cam" full screen or just a portion of your desktop (or movies, pictures, etc). It even does picture-in-picture. It's a pretty nifty piece of software for what you are trying to accomplish. It is a couple dollars, but worth it. There may be something out there for free, but I dont bother getting into those programs.

You can see what it is capable of here: http://www.race2play.com/broadcast/show/6
All graphics, overlays, commercials, etc were run through Webcammax. I dont bother with the Mogulus producer stuff, way too slow. In this broadcast there was 3 video feeds overlaying, 2 images overlayed on top of those along with scoring in a PiP and another layer of videos as commercials. |
