Question Here's an idea...

Maybe you guys could make a fantasy-track for GTLegends?

I mean, eveybody could post their ideas, and a bunch of you guys could collaborate to make it.
That's how cars are made anyway. Some are better at this, some are better at that.
I'll give an example:

I can't make tracks, but I do have a thing with the cars.
I think there are many 'rallye' cars in GTLegends (Mini, Escort, Cortina, A110).
So... could we have a track with some 'dirt and gravel'?
Or maybe a track where you can decide to 'take a shortcut' , where the AI will too...
It would be best if that shortcut was only faster if you did it 'just right'.
A balance of 'risk against speed'

Also I'd love to have one where you'd have to jump a bridge or something...
I guess that is because I'm still waiting for that Dodge Charger to come

Yeeee-haaaawww!

I mean a RACE track, not a touring-track. Machwerk is hardly a ' real' racetrack.
I know it's authentic, but it's not like 'let's do a 20 lapper online'.
Something that would be actually usable online, without having a 36 car field.

So, more something like Cadwell Park, but a bit more THROUGH the park.
About 3-5km with 25% dirt track in it.

We have Loch rannoch, but besides being a bit too long it is also too bumpy.
Entertaining though, because it has crests that necessitate slowing down.
Makes a difference from only braking for corners.

Knutstorp, the alternative version?
Where you'd actually have to drive a section behind the pit, and take the dirt road?

How about Knockhill? There is a version in Dirt that has some gravel(about 25%) and tarmac, it would be fun to have such a track in GTL,it is rather small though.

We have Knockhill on the add-on server, great track,
so many curt tracks usually the one wins who has the least stop and goes

But yes, sort of like that, tjhough it would be rather small, and most of all: too narrow.
If half of the track could be changed to dirt than it would be good fun.
I'd love to see (for instance) the Moggstang battle an Abarth on such a track.
It would need a good balance between fast tarmac sections (for the V8s) and gravel sliding (for the less powerful cars).

Someone rember Ataris Arcade classic "Hard Drivin" machine ?

A test track with ramps, a looping and "Blues Brothers" rope bridge.
A figure 8 with a cross / ramps to cross perhaps ?

That might be fun, but it would not be a race track.

Some kind of Rallycross track maybe? I remember playing a rallycross version of Brands Hatch in a game.

Can't remember which one though.

Couple Flatout2 circuits come to mind
Canberra Park from Dirt

Cityscape with different lap configurations, intersecting junctions and have street lights change red as warning when car is within 100 metres, throw in a draw bridge or 2 :p

Wouldn't be nice if it was 100% gravel though.

Here is a question, would I need permission from the person who released the tracks from Rally Trophy to Rfactor if I were to convert them to GTL?

I took a look at Lydden Hill, that would be the kind of track I like.
I'd rather have it with a bit more trees and a v bit more hills, but hey.

You can't have it all... or maybe we can.
