Default Porsche Carrera Cup 2006 V2 - Physics Update for GTR2 by German Racing Factory

Here is a little update for the PCC06 V2!

After many people said that the car oversteers too much, we modified the physics a little bit. This problem should be solved (I hope)..

As an addition we added a NEW Physics-type - the "VLN/24H"-Physics. It's made for the Nordschleife and/or other racing-series and racetracks. Everything is adjustable like in the other GTR2-cars. This physic is of course no used in the PCC, because there you can modify just a few little things.

Just look in your team-folders, mate!
In every team-folder you'll find the ".car"-files. I hope you understand what I'm talking about - if not post it here.

Have fun!

Now I understand, thanks mate. Mod is just great, the update physics is to understeer for my driving style :p So I hope that with VLN/24H physics I can get it right. If not I will play with the original physics.
Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Like this mod a lot but i have a problem with the 997GT3-cup (not the 911)car as part of this package. In the garage my car only has 4 gears, have you come across this before? If not is there an easy fix?

Thank you GRF ! Beautiful Mod.

Now I'm a bit annoyed that I didn't try it without adding the Physics Patch

As the GTR2 physics are really forgiving compared to GTR1 I ask myself how nervous the original PCC Mod vehicles were actually.... I like it a little more "spicy"...

I've found the physics of the original mod too oversteering.
Yes, of course Porsche does oversteeer and it's at low speed when accelerating..
But Porsches does not suffer high speed oversteering, like in the original mod, because of the rear wing downforce.
I'll try this nice mod with this physics update.

To be honnest, you do not seem to understand.
Because its of the rear engine, the physics of a 911 can be resumed as: ''throttle lift oversteer'... that is, because of the weight transfer, the car will oversteer when you lift the throttle but will also understeer when you accelerate. You must know what you are doing and control the throttle carefully to drive fast without fatal mistakes (like lifting the throttle abruptly or putting the brakes at the wrong place). You corner a 911 with the throttle as much as you do with the steering wheel (so to speak)...
