I just put a Cosworth DFV in a Dome the other night....sounds pretty sweet to me.
Like I said, it's all personal preference; Do you thike the shrill of a Lambo at top RPM or the low roar of the Corvette?

The Ferrari 275 GTB from the GTL-GTR2 mod, probably the greatest sound yet.(I am aware that it is a GTL sound file.)

If you read the last line in the readme:

sound modified F179demo sounds.
The SGT Honda is propably the loudest, most violent sound I've encountered in this game yet. Don't drive that car unprepared with headphones on lol

Yes, the first time I went to the track and gassed it I said "WTF OUCH"!!!!
Then scrambled for the volume controll.

And that was with headphones.

Seen Le Mans 2009 on TV?
Did you hear them comming by?

The only thing that gives me chicken skin is the sound of the Corvettes.
Of course you need a good soundsystem.
When I'm alone at home, I turn up the volume, pump up the bass and go drive the Corvette...

I can feel the sound through the hairs on my legs, my chair is vibrating, I don't need to stir my coffee on my desk because it's mixing itselfs.
Better to put earplugs in, it's like the car is in the room, oh, so cool...

And then, after a while of pure extasy... I cum... sorry, come to my senses just before my wife is comming back...

"something wrong dear? You're all hot and sweaty!" see's asking.

"No..., nothing, I just had a ride in a Corvette"

"AGAIN? YOU PERVERT!!"

Hahaha, nice.

But I agree the Corvette has one of the best sounds which exist.

For me the 911 GT3 R/RS have a great sound, LOUD and sexy. (Those by ThinlaneT)

I just want to "Bitch Slap" all those people who think it sounds cool to to play Shitty music during a on board race video

The main reason to watch a on board or any other race video is to #1 see whats happening and #2 to hear whats happening

Defiantly (not) to hear Shitty music !!!

by your account name I guess you fancy Porsche

I do admit I like the sound of a 935.

I saw one once at Road America, a K3, I was hooked ever since.

Yes it took many years of hard to work, but I am finally realizing the dream of having a set of RL Porsche keys in my pocket. But the Corvette is still an awesome sounding car, if you like your cars to have deep sounds.

Some of those porsches sound deep too.
I like cars that have high pitched exhaust notes.
Anything Judd works for me.

Corvette C6R (Evo) with Logitech z550 (500watt surround) and Aura Bass shakers can't be beat. Saleen is good too. Tranny whine on the M3 GTR is pretty cool as well, but the full deep sound of the Vette is awesome.
