What sim has the best AI.

I just posted a question in the rfactor forum asking about the AI and it got me thinking. Which sim has the best AI.

I race almost exclusily offline and get frustrated when I fall in love with a new sim then find out that the AI sucks. So I would like to hear what other people think and what there experience has been.

I really like GTR-2 but half way through the races the AI slows dramatically.
I've had mixed results with rfactor.

So far, for me GTL has the best AI. But even it has its problems. On larger tracks it is fine but on shorter tracks the leaders lose huge amounts of time lapping slower cars.

When I first started sim racing the AI was very good. GP2 in particular but as multiplayer racing became bigger the AI really began to take a back seat.

What is your opinion?

I've had loads of fun with ToCA Race Driver 2 AI on pro-sim

All the others are more or less the same as GTR2

I don't mind GTR-2, except that they drastically slow down after a while. It's OK if you run short races. GTL AI doesn't seem to slow though. You would think they would be the same.

Race07 has the best AI for sure. They make mistakes, usually drive quite consistent laps, don't have the fast lap qualy bug.
(I compare with GTL, GTR2 and rF)

I don't know about best, but the most annoying was TOCA 3. Not matter how good you are there is always a car that will catch you up on the last lap and more often than not just drive into the back of you in one of the later corners sending you into a nice long spin.

GTR 2 is quite good as already mentioned.

One day they will make a F1 game that the driver understand what the blue flag means. Wouldn't that be nice!
