Porsche Supercup 2009 for GTR2 by kiwisteve

After a longer wait than originally planned, here is the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup mod for 2009. It's a totally standalone version requiring no other mod to make it work.

All the real 2009 teams and drivers including guest drivers are included (31 in total) except for Zampedri (Konrad #10 at Monaco only) and Ferrara (Sanitec #8) who I've replaced with Hirsch and Engelhart, and Fantini (Ebimotors #39 at Nuerburg) who I just haven't got enough information to finish.

This download is the cars only but they are all playable together in Race Weekend mode and can be raced with other Porsche GT3 Cup cars in Single Makes.

Championship files will follow as soon as Zwiss releases his Abu Dhabi track for GTR2 but the list of all the other tracks required for this mod is in the ReadMe below.

for the talent files issue, a fix would be place them in the team folder...or that doesn´t work???

Great work as usual, Steve.

I'll try to complete my championship within the next few days. These cars are a blast to drive, this is the best add-on for GTR2 imho, very addictive stuff.

Just a curious question for the author :
You recommend to uninstall Porsche Supercup 2008 for this mod beacuse of talent files conflict, but your Porsche IMSA Challenge, which needed for its running to have installed PSC 08, will work now - I mean will be based on new installation of the Porsche Supercup 2009?

Bottom line is that I'm being fussy and the talent file issue isn't a big deal. Race Weekend mode is spot on and Championship mode comes out more or less as expected so YOU DON'T HAVE TO UNINSTALL YOUR PMSC-08 MOD IF YOU DON'T WANT TO .

And yes the IMSAC_08 mod should also work fine if you put it into the PMSC_09 folder as there are no changes to the base car except for some new black wheels you can see on the AB Motorsport cars.

These new wheels are selectable for the other cars by the way by changing the second number in the genstring from 2 to 3 (eg GenString=2305).

I explained this clearly in the intro text with the download:

Soon as the Abu Dhabi track is released and I've tested it with the mod I'll release the 09 championship files, probably as a separate download.
