Nope, power and glory is based on real data etc. The scca1981 GTL - GTR2 mod was just cars converted from GTL - GTR2. Hope that's helped.

Scca's is pretty much a straight conversion with original GTL sounds and physics and it doesn't require a GTL CD

Power and Glory is pretty much reworked in terms of physics and sounds and it requires a GTL CD to install

If you mean the GTL-GTR2 mod, that is a straight forward conversion of the fabulous GT-Legends modern historical racecars, into GTR2.

Power&Glory is quite a different simulation, bit more vast and more inclined towards the old timer racing enthusiasts, all made accurate within possibilities/limitations.
Taking the 3D car models from GTL into the GTR2 platform (hence the CD/DVD-check), everything else from those bases was reworked or re-invented, to recreate those 60's and 70's racecars exactly as they were in their glory days (so in the past).
That means reworked external bodies plus interior/cockpit models and textures, also for more variations of same car model (same ones you could see back then), with all new physics, sounds, user/interface, new race classes/categories, even purpose made music soundtrack... we're just missing the period tracks, but plenty have been made by various other modders and can be downloaded separatly.

P&G is supposed to be like a total expansion or a new sim-race gaming title (depending on points of view) for owners of both GTL and GTR2, hence the advised separate/standalone installation.
