Addon tracks

Hi,
its possible to import new tracks and more stuff to Race 07, its moddable.
I've imported some Tracks to Race07 and i want to upload it, but there is no section for race07... plz add a new downloadsection. so long i will upload it to rapidshare.

Yes a new section for addon tracks & mods for Race 07 seem like a great idea for sure.

I have tried the first two , very good.
Well Done!!!

However, it takes time to download all of them.
(need to wait a long time after pervious download)

A new download section would be the best solution.

I noticed Donnington National was in the track folder but it does not show up in Race 07. How do you get it in game?

With textedit? What do you mean? Could you describe the procedure a little better? I mean if it is really easy to import tracks from GTR2 or other games into Race07 that is really cool! Same here - cannot see Donnington and followed the instructions, not had time to try another have to wait 95 mins for next d/l.

gmts are in gtr2 format.
im uploading at the moment, needs to be activated.
you must load a new hat file from original source with exact same gmt datas.

That has been done a very long time ago. Check out rsc. The tracks are converted by Dangerous Beans. Very nice conversions as well.

Hi,
For the 'X files' the collision target must be set to true.
i.e

MeshFile=xpitin.gmt CollTarget=True HATTarget=False
MeshFile=xpitout.gmt CollTarget=True HATTarget=False
MeshFile=xsector1.gmt CollTarget=True HATTarget=False
MeshFile=xsector2.gmt CollTarget=True HATTarget=False
MeshFile=xfinish.gmt CollTarget=True HATTarget=False

Some tracks are set to false for some reason, but Race07 needs them to be true to work.

Ok gettting technical...

First do we need to edit .trk's or anything? I assume because of the ease of installation that no converting of files was nessicary. Oh i can't wait for the steam version to come out

BTW, Mugello has my permission for the 'convert'

The Mother and OldRing. I'm sure you would need to permission from the original authors before releasing a conversion.

Ok,Mugello & Mondello are the next tonight.
The green hell works fine here, but awaiting permission.

@GT Virus:
Edit the TRK, Edit the GDB. Extract the content from masfile into seperate directorys. Make new bik file, make new tga file. Example like Donington. Thats all. Have fun!
