After you have extracted the rar to a temp directory, you will find two directories inside the folder. Copy the 'GTR2' folder to C:\, supposing your installation is C:\GTR2. No files will be overwritten, except the Impreza Cup's .gdb files.

Please set the keys for seat up/down at the option, or use the left/ right button on your mouse. Hold either of them and move upward/backward.

Hey Mate,

you did an excellent Job, but left some things need to be done.

The fuel consumption is way to much. I drove 2 rounds Nordschleife and my consumption was 11,9L each Lap. With a normal GT Car from GTR2 the consumption is about 10L !! I could correct the eng files for you if you want.
My front tyres burned also. I had about 110°C on the front as i was on my flying lap. Lap Time was 7.50 on Tourist Version. A bit fast i think. A german car magazin (Sport Auto) has tested the Evo8 on the ring. Their lap time was 8.25. That should not be destroying critic! Your work is excellent.

I found an interesting line in the championship gdb ..... will there be a skyline soon ???

Problem:

For some odd reason, I am unable to achieve the clarity in my Evo skin that I was achieving with my Subie skins. Everything looks great in Photoshop and the Evo skins are saved to dds with the EXACT same settings. However, once the Evo skin is "in game", things look more blurred and not as crisp as with the Subie. Looks good in Geditor also.

It's especially noticable in the showroom. Previous Subies look great, but the Evo has lost quality. Part of the car is white and that color (or lack) gets a little washed out in game also.

Question:

Can anyone suggest why this might be or what I am missing? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

are u useing DXT5 When you make the .dds ,and have u put in bodymask ????
(dont forget two flatten it)or might be sumit u turned on or off by mistake in photoshop,
try restoring default settings

I was using 3 for Subies, only because it seemed to be the default and wasn't sure I should change it. I will use 5 tonight when I dive in again.

Yes, using mask dds. Is there anything that needs done to the mask?

It affects the degree of surface reflection. Full white = shiny and full black = dull

Open the .car file under each team folder. There is a line called 'eyepoint' at the top. Change the '-0.3942' to 0.3942 and save. This car then should drive at the left. But this only changed the view point, you cannot change the dashboard and panel so easy like this.
