Me too, it looks like the Saleen for me.
2:16.0xx so far. Have only just started messing with the set up. Trying to get the thing to stop bottoming out is a challenge.

Sorry to Berger and all others about the laps thing. It will be 48 laps so the race wont reach 2 hours just a little less
![]() Oh and if it rains (10%) would be cool.It usually rains at Spa

Spa does seem to have a funny micro-climate all of its own, who knows what the weather will be like :p
Have we got any radar based advanced weather warning downloads in the mods section? :roflmao: |

We did a race at Zhuhai with 10% of rain and the gt behaved very nice.It almost wont make any difference jut have to be a little more careful. And for the tyres would be even betterIts Karlos choice but a surprise for the last race would be nice

I would like to see this race start in the afternoon - say 5-6pm, that way we could start in day time and drive into the night time.

Still undecided on what to have. Seems the Lister a big favourite. I would like to get the 550 out for this one but....setups..lol. Funny enough the car im normally happy with is a Nissan 350z maybe i should give that a go or the RSR which i'm starting to like once you get the sweetspot of setting up right its a dream

ok after practicing with the Saleen for the last few days I've now chickened out of that, and decided to take the 360 GTC.
It's not quite as quick for me as the RSR, but seems slightly easier to drive. my best off line in the 360 is 1:24.6xx (Race setup), half a second slower the the Porsche. I think it's going to be hard going trying to hang on to the back of those M3 GTR's:p |

yep, i'm settled on a lister, i did 18 laps on server on race setup, the tires are the only issue as it will easly 1 stop, unlike the other GT cars.
anyone got any tips to decrease tire degridation from the setup side? i'm thiking, less toe in/out, less caster, slightly harder sprigs?......help |

Spa is the most beautiful track that i know, but i was never fast on this track. This is the same now. Hard to find the racecar. I know what time is possible (550= low 1.10) for me, but i never can do a lap without doing some little mistakes.
I do not take the 550:cry: because i am to slow in race speed. If jayblue or McDanger take this car i must do drive faster that it is good for me and then i do lots of mistakes (down/up corner after start and the bad courbs). I will drive C5. I am slow with this car too (quali =1.14, race speed =1.16-1.18 high), but i can do 1 stop (only a very little advantage this is for 2 hours) and i can drive safety (important for 2 hours and this track) because i must look a little of the fuel. I am not happy that i am not fast on this beautiful track. I hope that i do finish and after i saw that 2 guys are faster with the lister than i with a faster car, i think i will be one of the slowest GT driver. little suggestion for season 6: if we do 2 hours again, we should do a single car race or take cars that have the same speed, because i think lots of us will have a lonely (not much action, fights) race after some laps, because very different car speed and lots of DNF (perhaps) in 2 hours. See you in Spa |

Berger; Its always difficult to get all 28 guys with the same spirit here.Thats why i post in another thread about having 2 different classifications for this race. That would encourage more people to go with slower cars. Its funny to see some Lister cars in practice server.Usually nobody takes them for normal races
So its obvious that those who pick the Lister are here for the win.About dnf:Almost all can finish this race if they think that its a 2 hour race not a 2 lap race,i said this before so im saying again. There are plenty of time to overtake.Be careful on pit entry,it will take ages to get to your pit crew.Good luck to all

i see what your saying berger, but i like the fact that because we have different cars racing, the stratergy comes into play alot more, and that makes it more exciting cos in a gimp and enjoy working out lap times and race times and pit stop times down to the nth degree
![]() of course the green flag drops, that will all go out the window.... :roflmao: |

This has got to be the first race all season/ever when I have been happy/excited about how my car actually 'feels' to drive. Have made a couple of changes to my wheel as well that may have helped. Not worried about the 1 stoppers
Should be quick enough with my 3 stops, I hope

I have a problem with the track, or is it just me.
The visibility in front of me is blurry. I can't see the track lines ( left and right ) about 10 meters in front of me. The entire tracks gets blurry, I don't have this on any other track. Tried playing with AA Settings of Nvidia, shaders, but no luck. Anyone else has this problem. It's really annoying. THx. JH. |

I've decided I'm going to take the Saleen for this race. I'm quite a bit quicker in the lister but this is more about enjoying my evening instead of trying to take podium.
I like the looks and I like the sound. I hope I can somehow finish without an incident!

It sounds like 48 laps from the majority. So that's my guess. :p
Good on you Gaiajohan for taking the GT2! will be awsome to see/hear one of those pounding round spa I was tempted myself, but too scared lol :roflmao:I'm finding this the hardest track ever to come up with a setup for, I feel like I need rock hard shock and springs and even packers (yuck!) to get through eau rouge, but then they make the car a liability elsewhere on the track, and with the front nice and stiff I can't get the thing to turn into the long sweeping downhill left(s). I'm starting to see why everyone says this track is so challenging. Must be total madness when it starts raining:p back to the server for some final praccy now.... |

Well i have stuck together a decent setup and i'm hoping for an entertaining race tonight, have yet to test out the pitlane entry or figure out a strategy but not too worried as it's a long race so those few seconds you can loose in the pits aren't quite as critical as normal.

i do not take C5
i take 550, because i see lots of fast GT cars on the server and Icke, McDanger, Jayblue, soundman, lowndes and perhaps some other GT will follow. Not good for quali this is. Only a midfield place i would manage. I do not like starts, especialy in the middle of the field. I hope i can get the 2. row (3. or 4. place)with 550. But the possibility for a DNF with 550 is very high for me. But i try it. |

I'm going to go with a very conservative strategy. My main goal is to finish without major mistakes so I expect to hit only 1:14-15's during the race.
