Default Boredom . . What's Your Remedy For It ?

As it says in the thread title what do you do when your bored out of your brains and you can't be bothered to play sim games or other things of that nature.

Right this minute I'm so bored out of my brains that I'm home alone and have got nothing to do. I'm watching somtehing weird on BBC3, I havn't got a clue what it is, so what's your remedy to all this boredom ?

Discuss . .

Normally mine is my gf but as she is 1500 miles away atm and I can't see her and we have fallen out it don't work really . . thought about playing on the PS3 but the control is to far away from me . .

Are you really that lazy?

I usually trawl forums, or Sim it up. I've never been to bored to not sim (As in I've never been so bored I didn't want to sim). Usually pick up the guitar though is my cure for boredom when I don't feel like gaming.

well I usually go out for a walk and maybe do some plane or car spotting with a friend. Pretty easy seeing I live about 12miles from a lamborghini dealer and 7 from a corvette dealer. If its not that I might go and think about things.

Oh, and trawling informative fora on the tinternet is good too. I mean real proper information and not 'entertainment' fora such as this one. There is so much chewing gum for the eyes readily available these days it makes for a lazy and an arguably somewhat ignorant generation.
Then again, by saying that I feel like I'm talking to a wall.

If I'm bored I'll usually go frisk the War Department. If that doesn't work then I'll go paint a car.

I usually spend most of my time painting or creating some havoc in rFactor.

I`m easily bored so I mod games, or take the piss out of people on forums. Sadly my piss-taking is so subtle, it`s usually not noticed. The modding is more successful.

My piss-taking is much reduced in volume and incisiveness by my 'position of responsibility'.

Since the racing season is winding down.....I'm relly gonna be bored. Around Feburary I'll have some new bodies to hang on cars for the new season, so it'll start picking up.

I should get back into league racing. The "Banzi Morons" made me quit a few years ago. Got tired of wishing I could reach thru the monitor and smack the shit out of a few people.

When I got out of the Military I went to work for a guy that built "Special" bodies for the Nascar Busch and Cup teams. These bodies had tweeks for running faster at the Superspeedway events, primarly Daytona and Talladega.

Nascar tightened up the body rules, took away the "creativity", so I went back to work for Uncle Sam, doing the same thing I did in the military.... I just didn't have to wear the uniform.

I retired from the aircraft industry in 2005 after 22 years.
Moved to NC and was a Crew Chief for a local DLM team until it shut down because of the economy late last year. Also was a machinist for a company making ring gears for BMW.
I've always been good at fabricating; learned alot of it working in the aircraft industry where alot of fab is done making repairs to airframes.

I got back into fab or hanging DLM bodies a few years ago......not many rules, so you can get pretty crazy at times.

I surf on forums and read silly comments...

Or I take a ride in GTR2, or work on my models, or just listen to my favourite music (80s metal), or spa... oh not good.
