Default Replay hotlaps

hello

is it possible to convert te moviefiles (.vcr) from your hotlap to a .mp4 file?
or .mpeg doesn't matter because i want to see my hotlaps in media player so i don't need to start GTR2 up again .

Or do I need the recording programmes like fraps or gamecam or something?

Thanks for you help!

As far as I know you've answered your own question by already knowing about fraps etc...
unless someone else knows some other bit software.

yeah, but you need to film it when you are driving or watch the replay but when you look at the gtr2 folder you can see al the movies. and that is a .vcr file and i wanne convert it to a .mp4 or .mpeg without using fraps or gamecam.

only a converter program...

There is none afaik. That kind of tool would be a major task to do: interpreting track files, car files, their skins, implementing physics .. .vcr file only contains info like: car and track name, position data (x,y,z), some forces (x,y,z), some other secondary info like lap times, lightnings, chat messages, votes .. so on. No graphics included in .vcrs.

If you want to see live dials, just use Fraps while doing your best (thats not easy, at least I'm camera shy )

If you don't need live dials, use Fraps with GTR2 Replay function.

cheers.. aSa C[_]
