Yeh sorry man, im waiting on 4ph3x, he converted to GTR2, so he's just checking it out, not sure why we have to go through this myself as it will always be a illegal conversion.

4ph3x has granted the project / you the permissions..

Ricky has been in contact with him regarding some other tracks
& got the Toban permissions as well..

However 4ph3x insisted that a version containing all the layouts
are released & not just 1 of the layouts..

If you need further details just shoot Ricky a PM..

Yeh im aware of getting the permission, and that a release contains all 4 layouts, which it does, i gave 4ph3x a link to download them yesturday as he wanted to see the finished work, just waiting on reply from him to say yep their fine, then i can upload to nogrip..

Some more good news, i have been granted permision to convert the Russian Ring circuits over to Race07, i have to upload so they can be tested, and if they like how they have turned out, then i can share..

Isn't Gobi just the person that just converted the circuit to GTR2 from rfactor? if so that is not full permission, you would need permision from the creaters, which i have..

Pointless reply m8, im happy whoever converts, what im stating is that Gobi is not the maker of this track, MORE Racing Team are, personaly it would be nice if we could just convert anything, but im affraid as im sure you know we will get hammered if we do, alot of modders don't like sharing their work, also rickylix started this mass converting and has stated he wants proper permissions..I agree with your feelings Danny these problems always appear and its a real pain in the arse..I think i will stick to just doing things for myself and a few friends always a safe bet m8..

Lol..no he's here, if i have time i will be uploading tonight, i was just trying to sort out of i could only have one textures dir for all variations, but for some reason any circuit that has reverse variations in it doesn't like this, so all 4 layouts have to be totally seperate, so will upload in two packs as it comes to 100mb, so soon it will appear..

Just to let you guys know, you should beable to grab Slotpark very very soon..with full permission form the track maker and previous converters..Real fun track..

Also a repacked Toban will be up as well, alot smaller in size 'download & ingame' due to some very helpful person called ******...

I downloaded one of the converted trakc from the downloads section and finally got it unbacked and into the game 'Addon Tracks' section only to get CDT everytime!!

A little upsetting to say the least. Am I doing anything wrong?

I now have full permission from the MORE Racing team to convert and release the Russian Ring, they have tested the conversion already and really like it, but they want me to divide it to to 4 seperate tracks so people can grab want they want, so hopefully at the weekend it will be up...Hope you dont mind Piquet?

Firstly thanks to everyone that was worked on converting tracks for Race 07. Love this game.

Does anyone know if Bathurst is on the cards to be converted. Would love to get my hands on this being an Aussie myself.

Also I am wanting to get my hands on 3dSimed so I can help to convert the tracks as well. I have been searching everywere on the net and can only find it if I join up to an Adult website. (Not going to happen with my credit card on the net, Wife will kill me LOL)

Any help would be great.

Got these tracks working now and I must say, they are great.
Obviously we have Brands, Snetterton, Doni and Silverstone but is there any scope to get permissions and convert the other BTCC tracks such as:

CROFT - GTL by Tantra
KNOCKHILL - GTL by DerDumeklemmer
Oulton Park - GTR2 by Motofx (should be easy to come by)
THRUXTON - GTL by triafgg

Any news on these would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work.

Just returned from New Years Holidays & happy to see that the
project is going stronger than ever..

However we should consider looking into the organisatory area abit, to avoid
more misunderstandings like the confusion about the Russian Ring track.

The Stats about the Russian Ring track..:

1..Piquet -did- announce the track before Gopher..
2..Piquet got the GTR2 permissions..
3..Gopher got the original authors permissions..

Just a suggestion, why don't you guys make it into a co-work release..

Just as Pat mentioned a while back structured Race07 team work
seems to be rather mandatory to get better & faster results and
besides this avoid all future ( ..sad ) misunderstandings etc..

Will take a look into this area asap..

Sounds fair to me m8, yeh i did miss Piquet thread about russian ring, we have spoke, but we did need more team racing permission for that one, i think we need to highlight that converters permission comes 2nd, try and get the makers 1st, espically if they are scratch built, maybe re-edit the list on 1st page with tracks done, and tracks to be done maybe get volunteers for each track, and to track down the permission for it, just a suggestion, it will help stopping incidents like with me and Piquet, because neither of us im sure wanted to step on each others toes..

You know.
I really do not understand why people post their stuff on rapidshare when they have available a dowload site like this one. NoGrip offers you a place that is well known and BUSY.

Also, here the public does not have to pay for convenient access or wait out the artificial delays that timeshare forces so that you'll maybe lose patience and pay for convenience.

There are a number of examples of sites that offer downloads where the downloads have been available for weeks/months and the download counts are almost nothing for excellent work. Yet the same work made available here has download counts in the hundreds in less than a day and can go into the thousands in a week or so.

I really don't get it.

I woud like to see Pacific Raceways (exists for GPL) track converted - it is here in Kent, WA. It has some challenging turn combinations (3a/3b). I've been on it as a passenger in a 3000GT!
