missing mouse cursor with Win7

hi,

i installed Win7 ultimate, but now my mouse cursor is invisible in gtr2.
the gtr2 gui lights up when the cursor hovers over its buttons. Anybody have any idea why this is happening?

hardware specs: usb mouse/keyboard; core 2 quad pc with 4 gig ram and a 9800gtx+ vga card.

This is a typical problem with most operating systems. I know I had it with XP. Go to control panel and bring up the mouse options. You should see an option for mouse trails. Turn this off and see if this fixes your problem. Good luck.

I had a similar problem in XP. Replaced a MS mouse with a Logitech and forgot to remove the MS mouse software. Cursor was visible in some programs but not in others, in one case it would appear in the main window and disappear when moved to the menu bar.
