Default Does the AI hate me?

I'm a bad, sloppy, slow driver, but for god's sake... the AI loves to crash me off the track for some reason. The favourite manouvre is putting a GT car into my NGT's rear, but a variety of nudges and scrapes occur also. It's bad enough if I crash myself (around 6 times in an 1 hour race) without the AI trying to kill me (around 3-4 assaults for a 1 hour race). Especially annoying since I've set the damage factor to 200%, as I don't like the idea of driving on like nothing happened after humping a concrete barrier a couple of times.
I run the AI at 100% and normal aggression.
Strangely enough, the AI seems to like me more in the Power & Glory mod.

You're not hogging their racing line after passing them are you? After you pass someone you should always stick to the inner line. Otherwise they'll just end up bumping into you...

Yep, I sometimes think about this. If I race NGT's and GT's together the GT's seem to hit the rear's of the NGT's and knock there spoilers off which annoys me very much which causes me to go to the pit.

Me passing them doesn't happen too often. It's rather rare, actually. But no, it only happens when they gain on me.

I recommend a season racing rFactor then LFS, then when you return to GTR2 you will be in AI heaven.

Default try this

Try switching to novice setting. I know, I know... But you can give yourself all the simulation effects by turning all the help functions off if desired, and, the AI can be adjusted to below 100% all the way to about 80%. This may seem like the squidly thing to do, but it works; just make sure you switch back to simulation when you race on line that way all the servers will be visible.

...I dated a girl in high school who was Artificially Intelligent :headspin:

I think she must have had offspring that Simbin used to model their AI.
