917k care dealer...

Does anyone know why I can't get these great cars to show up in the car dealers showroom?

that was kind of funny, but it didn't really help him out ...

I had no trouble - but you have to follow the file structure. A number of new mods now don't fall into either of the 3 stock classes. You'll see in the file that the P917 file is in a folder called "extracars" - you need that folder under your "teams" folder. So you should have the stock three classes (TC-65, GTC-65, and GTC-76) and another "class" called extracars. If you download the Lola T 70, the Ferrari 312, etc. you'll see they all have this folder - you need to have it.

That should fix it, assuming you've done nothing else to the folders.

Yes i know what you mean, but the extra cars file is in place and i have all the other LM cars in there and they show up fine.
I can buy said 917 "if i turn up, yes with a load of wonga", but only if it's in quick race mode and then i can't test the cars before buying them...

Have a look in the classes line in the *.car file.

compare a 917 to a stock vehicle.

917= Classes="SIM_GTC65, SIM_V65, 917K, SIM_RSR, SIM_PORKA, SIM_CSL, SIM_DAG3NOT, SIM_TOURING, SIM_FULL, SIM_GTC76"

65vette= classes="SIM_FULL, SIM_GTC65, SIM_V65, SIM_GTC, SIM_VETTE, SIM_GTCTC65, SIM_GTC65NOT, SIM_NODAG2, SIM_NOMETAL, SIM_HEAVY, SIM_MASH, SIM_NOSHORT, SIM_NOLONG"

notice the missing SIM_GTC ? in the 917, I do believe that is the reason it does not show in the car dealer (it does show and can be bought if you go to a test session or a quick race).
