Default Switching from offline to online

Last week I had to reinstall my PC.
So I have to install RaceOn again.
I only had installed the offline version yet.
Now I think, I'm should switch to the steam version, because of
  • no need for DVD
  • latest Patch
  • Profile for G27
I own
  • DVD Race07
  • DVD GTR Evo Expansion
  • DVD RaceOn
As I don't want to mess up with my activation codes, how do I install?
  1. DVD RaceOn online install
  2. run RaceOn
  3. DVD GTR Evo online install
  4. run RaceOn
or
  1. DVD RaceOn online install
  2. DVD GTR Evo online install
  3. run RaceOn
or
  1. DVD Race07 online install
  2. run Race07
  3. DVD GTR Evo online install
  4. run Evo
  5. DVD Raceon online install
  6. run RaceOn

I find the patch worth almost nothing. OK, can't think of anything it does for me.

I find it quite valuable to have no-cd.

I've got a G27 and offline handling is nothing different than online.

Having two installs costs me nothing.

I thought the patch would change the behavior of the muscle car noticeably.

What I wanted to know is, if there could be a problem, to activate all the games, since Race07 is contained in RaceOn.
So when I would have activated Race07 and GTR evo and would try to activate RaceOn, that steam could say, that I could not do this, because I've already would have activated Race07.
(Very much woulds and clouds, I hope you understand )

In a previous Half Life 2 Installation I had a similar issue.

You can install either Evo or Race On first. Race 07 comes with both so no need to even bother with that disc. I have the full Evo/Race On dvd's and usually install evo first on steam then race on. There should not be any activation issues.

Just for later readers -> I think its better to install RaceOn first, because it has the newer built of Race07 on the DVD. If you install it from the GTR Evo DVD steam starts downloading all the patches were made since Evo was released. If you have a fast internet connection there is no matter of the order

Steam patches all the games. Race 07, STCC, Evo, Race On.
