New Feature: Embed Youtube videos on the file details page

I've added the ability for Uploaders to add a link to a Youtube video of their upload, which is then displayed embeded into the file details page..

I think it's very nice, I have no idea what an upgrade to V4 would cost, but it does look superb (I love the way it auto-resizes to your screen resolution, making it look good on my 24'' and on my HTC mobile phone) and has some very nice features.

*Edit:
According to the official website an upgrade is 'only' $250,-.
I was expecting more.

VB4 isn't on the cards for now.. its their buggiest release ever, adds more complications (supposed features) that we don't need, and they have reneged on the old license agreement of having an owned license where you pay a small fee per year to get updates and changed it to a large up front fee so they can make more money...

I'd say its more likely we'll go to a custom forum of our own, but who knows

But I am the sort of person who likes shiny new internet stuff.

Anyway, it wasn't really a complaint, more like a suggestion for when NG admins get bored and rich

.

Though I still would really love a widescreen option. Just so much dull grey carbon fibre on my screen.

Dear Velo..bring this Feature for the Complete Forum.
YT Links to show YT Vids is not Innovative, not modern and not trendy..sorry, its not Up To Date!

Please bring this most needed Feature to your Complete Forum.

scroll to the bottom of ^ that page and you'll see the description of how it works

We could have added some mega fancy way that does it for most video links, but that means modifying the forum, so I went the simple route as it saves hassle for the future when upgrading the forum, and doesn't break half the posts already made

Nice one, just updated my plugin for motion pictures. The presentation is really good now, the downloads section has really improved over the last month. Good work mate!
