I installed the Lexus IS-F mod for GTR2 and I have a problem. When I drive the Lexus and try to overtake another car, the game starts to stutter and freeze. Anyone knows what causes this? Is it possible to fix it?

It may be that the model for the lexus contains alot of polygons, the only way i think you can fix it is by lowering your graphics settings. You can also try closing any other processes or programs that are running before you start gtr2

The IS-F has very high poly shadow.gmt and collision.gmt meshes since they share pretty much the same poly count as the actual model itself, which is already high. The shadow.gmt and collision.gmt meshes are ideally supposed to be VERY low poly (<100 polys?). These are causing the game to stutter and lag when you try overtake another car. If the poly count of these two meshes is decreased, the mod will run much more smoothly. I may or may not get around to fixing it myself, since I don't really have the time, and can't really be bothered.
