Default Fi 2008 skins for F3000 go faster Mod ?

Hi all,

I was circulating Melbourne yesterday in the high 1.33's (no great, but good fun) and I thought that because this is such a stable, good handling base for a mod, wouldn't it be great to have the full set of 2008's F1 skins to create a 2008 championship.

I have no skinning abilities but have converted the 2008 skins from RACE 07 across for the Ferrari Renault and McLaren cars. (Is anyone ever going to be able to properly replicate the almost chrome effect McLaren paint scheme ?)

I bet that the two new tracks at Valencia ans Singapore will appear from somewhere before the races.

What does anyone else think, Is it a runner ?

Nigave.

Hi Prez,

It's a matter of stability. I find the F1 2005 and 2007 mods are difficult to really get comfortable with, whereas the F3000 is driveable from go. Maybe it's the difference between an addon and a full Simbin creation, maybe it's in the physics, maybe I'm a c..p driver ?

Anyway it's only an idea I'm throwing out there into the Ether. If I could do it myself I would but any limited abilities I have lie within other areas and not skinning.

There are already 3 skins available so only 8 more to go !!!!!!!!!

Regards,

Nigave.
