I found a little bug.
go into ur main netkarpro folder and then ur cfg folder. In there is a nk3d file. Mine was set in there as 1024 x 768 or something BUT in my game it was set at 1920 x 1200. Now change the resolution in that nk3d file to your screen resolution and check out what that does. |

the cfg file in the main netkar folder doesn't actually control the graphics once the game is up and running, because the same file is in Documents/Netkar/cfg/nk3d, at least it is in Vista.
Here is where you can turn the shadows off for more fps and change the resolution. It's just one of vista's odd folder systems that rfactor and netkar keep their relevant files in duplicate away from the actual install. |

ReDi can't tell the differance either.
Some other members of GC could see some differance. Maybe it was only a placebo.....

Well as already reported over at GC, when running Vista the nk3d.ini file can be found on two locations. The one in the nkpro11/cfg folder had 1024x768 in it on my PC, but there was another nk3d.ini file in Documents and Settings/NetKar Pro and that one had the proper 1920x1200 resolution in it. Hence, I guess that file is the one that my install of NKP is using.
