Time for event nr 3!
Race ends on 9th January, because we all know what days are coming up, at least in the northern countries. ![]() Rally Finland, original version is the track this time, decided to have some variety with tarmac-gravel. Let's see, who masters this combination. Again - overall time after all rallies this season will count. The usual rules are still the ones to follow. Now what you need to download in order to take part this season/event: 1) You need RT2, get it here 2) You need to choose 2 RT2 cars before the season. You will drive those 2 cars during all the season, so be careful with your choice! Which of the 2 cars you drive is up for you to decide. 4) To drive through an event, you need to start a single rally, save all replays of the stages and make a screenshot of rally results after the rally. This is just in case someone is suspiciously fast 5) That's it, now all you need is good luck! Rally Finland (original by BugBear) is opened during these times: Start: Thursday, 16.12.2010 at 00.00 GMT End: Sunday, 09.01.2012 at 23.59 GMT Topic sticky please! A Happy New year to everyone here!
Just waking you all up from the New Year and Christmas celebrations, time to do some racing! I'm taking the Saab this time, just to torture the 3 cyl a bit

I hope it's the 9th of January, because I'm a bit rusty in driving RT and need more practice time. Is there a rule which of the two cars we have to use? I'm asking because most of us have chose a slow and a fast car and don't want to be the only one racing with a fast car against the slower ones or vice versa. Rallyfan says he takes the Saab 96 3cyl, so I take the Citroen DS19. regards Matra-Rancho |

Urgh.
Broke my shifter trying to improve my time, G25 can take a lot of abuse, but too much is too much... So, last night I was having fun and managed to slip 'n slide through the rally with Fiat 124 Abarth. Some difficult moments, too much sliding, one tap on a rail and one spin. Still, felt good, even if the time isn't anything nearing good. 15:42:63 Last edited by Zieman; 9 January 11 at 17:38. Reason: typo |

Better individual stages but this is the best overall. Could not get to grips with the Polski Fiat so it was the Mini for me 16.36.17. All over the place at the finish of stage 2 and a nudge of the barrier on stage 4.

Kip, your replays of stages 3 & 4 seem corrupted - CTD with both.
The times add up in the screenie, so no probs, methinks.

Hi,
after a longer break from RT I have to say this game is still really fun to play. The DS19 is a great car too - feels and sounds like the real one. I started my first run with a 17:39.xx and ended many many kilometers later with a 16:30:68. This was my best run without any crashes, spins or guard rail contact. Waiting for the next event... regards Matra-Rancho |

My effort as well, couldn't be online yesterday evening.
First run through, thought i had time for another run, but not this time. 17.42.34 3 cyl Saab Animals on Keyboard Glad to see that some of the PM's i sent regarding RT racing were useful. ![]() EDIT: race results are clear to see, but i will add the results to 1st post of this rally probably tomorrow. Overall result will be updated as well. Or if someone else can do it, i would be thankful as well.
