Default Setup Problems Spa Ferrari Maranello

Hi there!

I have some problems with a working Setup for Spa 2003 with a Ferrari Maranello from the 2004 GT series.

Basically top speed is ok and I donīt have problems in Eau Rouge. But I canīt get the car to oversteer which I prefer rather than understeer.

Wing is set to 7 and splitter to 1. Also I adjusted tire pressure to get more oversteer. But no matter how I change the setup the car wonīt oversteer.

When I lift the foot of the accerleration pedal it understeers over the front wheels and if i stay on the gas and try to force oversteer it just understeers over all 4 tires.

The suspension is quite hard and ground clearance is quite high because of Eau Rouge.

So any tipps please? =D

PS: Maybe some terms like "ground clearance" might be wrong but I donīt know how to say it the right way. Thats no vocabulary you learn in school over here in germany

hi,

main important thing is do the front splitter to 2 !!!
GT cars do always need splitter 2, only perhaps in monza and lemans you can use 1.
the 550 is more understeer (not sure if we mean same thing, corner slow i do say) then cars like S7, lambo and mc12 and a little more then 575 too i think.
power and easy handling is main advantage of the car.
setup things help only a little.

Thank you guys
Iīll give it a try or maybe choose another car. Iīm just not used to thoose cars because I prefer "slower" cars. Maybe its because Iīm not a born GTR2 Player but rather the Richard Burns Rally-type of racer

I have similar problems.

What is the best setup for a hot lap on this track? Where I can download?

That is my setup:

Play around with front and rear toe-in as well. If you want the car to be more responsive on turn in you can adjust the caster too. The relation of front to rear ground clearance influences cornering as well. There are many possible setup combinations which can yield the desired result. Good luck!
