Default Been playing WRC 2010 for 2 days... Nice game actually!

To be honest I only have the 360 controller atm, so your wheel experiences may vary. BUT, the cars really do drive very convincingly: oversteers, understeers, flicks are just right, at least qualitatively. FWD and AWD do drive as they should. Too bad it seems very few people play it. Or is it because it's not out in US yet?

If it weren't for the overly dark stages I'd be playing it non-stop for quite a while

Same here, i play the game for a couple of weeks now and it's fun to drive the 4WD cars like WRC and P-WRC with oversteer . The only problem i have are the dark stages @ spain i believe.
Last week i started to paint the Lancer EVO IX from Timo van der Marel, i hope that i can finish the skin this week and upload it here on nogripracing.

Of course the game Is a decent one and got some great potentials.

I'm sure Milestone will deliver a much better 2011 title and the dark stages
( among some other Issues) will be fixed!

hey Homeboy
if all you have to use is a 360 box controller well you're in luck because this game is built to be played with something like that....it sure the hell was not designed to be used with a real steering wheel....Blackbean ought to be ashamed ....or at least embarrassed....really how can they be working on their next project without finishing this one first...the sound and FFB is just down right pathetic...man what were they thinking?

I have got WRC for the PS3 and I play it with the normal controller.

The game has got it's good and bad points.
But I think it has a very good basic, especially for a first semi-sim rally game.

I'm actually happy that it's no hardcore-sim. I think this is just right.
When I played it online, I often was to quick so others couldn't finish on time

I think this needs to be done on the next game:
- Better weather system
- Shorter career mode.
- Decals adding to the car is oke, but I would like to see it more as in Forza3.
- A look at the physics, I think the overall grip level is a bit to low.
- Adding Super Special Stages in the game. Is nice for offline and online.
- Stages width should be smaller/tighter, maybee not more difficult, but more technical. This will bring the overall speed lower, so automatically the stages will cost more time.
- Now there are 3 stages + reverse,
----I would like to see 3 rally day's,
-------with 2 SS on the first day you have to do twice.
-------3 or 4 stages on day 2, also doing twice
-------and on the final day again 2 stages, doing twice.
--- And better U-turns, when you really need the handbrake to be faster.

Heehee yeah, ignorance is bliss. Their wheel support had always seemed bad...

Thats good to hear. I cant wait to get a copy of it. If the mod makers take a liking to it we are in for a real treat. Just think of the way r-factor and most of the other sims are right out of the box with no mods.

on the other hand, with proper ffb and good sounds it could be easily better.

but seeing SBK year after year i'm not sure im they really going to improve
