Default Happy Winter-een-mas!

As many of you undoubtedly know, today is the first day of Winter-een-mas, the gamers holiday.

I wish you all many races won, headshots made, items collected and credits earned.

Don't forget to wish all your fellow gamers a happy winter-een-mas!

Nope, although this holiday is not exactly a wide-spread phenomenon.
Our buddies over in the New World should be a tad more familiar with it, but still...

Winter-een-mas is a holiday invented in a cartoon (Ctrl+Alt+Del) by one of it's characters.
It has since been celebrated by followers of the cartoon and getting somewhat more widespread a few years after.

It seems to have calmed down the last few years though.

But hey, if I can wish someone a happy day, why not go for it?

Just for the record, winter-een-mas is always the last seven days of January, not one particular day.

I am amazed the games industry hasn't capitalized on this. There missing a chance to squeeze some $ out of a holiday...

Haha, now there's a thought.
Maybe in a few years time Steam will have a "Winter-een-mas" sale period as the do with Christmas.

So Redi, any luck with getting time off?

Well, last day of Winter-een-mas today.
I've finished Assassins Creed 2 - a series that I can severely recommend - and plan on doing some "cleaning up" tonight (collecting feathers, contracts, hidden symbols etc) or do another game that I have on Steam.

It's rather senseless when you think of it really, since I'm more or less at liberty to do some gaming when I see fit, but something like Weemas brings some variation to life.

Well getting time off from work isn't too much of a problem (have plenty of holidays in a year ), but at home they won't let me alone behind my PC for a week
