I had originally put this in the wrong board, sorry.
There is a group of fine drivers that I race with most nights online. The ping was usually below 100, I thought I had seen it around 60, not sure. But recently the ping has been around 120+ and I have been getting terrible lag or warp. The cars I see jump around all over the place. One of the guys told me about speedtest.net to check download and upload speed. He said upload of 500 and above is good. My download was 1474 and Upload was 446. He said the 446 was the problem. How exactly can it change like that to the worse if I have been racing with them with no problems before? And how can I fix this? Thanks. |

Try set the internet setting in the game to ISDN.
Pings of 100-150 in this game should not be a problem. Ur internet connection is ok. |

ISDN, change it right there on the online screen. Uh, where you select the races?

Yes, you select the Data Rate in the lobby while you're online.
![]() It may also be something running in the background such as Norton or McAffe performing a back-up or something like that. Are you having any other connection issues when you're not in the game? Perhaps you'll need to run a defrag. |
