Turn F1 2010 into a sim worth playing...

Features:
Mistakes -- Implemented a new Mistake System that causes AI to make several different mistakes.
Aggression -- AI tries harder to overtake, making it overall more competitive and engaging.
Fuel and Tyre Wear -- Now the ai is affected by the fuel simulation in a much more realistic way and the Korean track was fixed as it had no fuel sim at all. The Tyre Ware sim has also been improved and made more noticeable.
Damage -- AI gets affected by damage and has harder time racing with damage.
Mechanical Failures -- Now AI can get blown engines and tires. It will also either DNF or get DSQ.
Hot Laps -- AI can now do hot laps in practice and qualifying.
Corner Stats -- Improved Corner Stats causing the AI to take corners smoother.
Stall Chance -- There is a 1% chance that the AI will stall at the race start.

Will the ai mod mess up the season I already have going.

I installed the mod and I am on race 2 pre-race. I entered the game just fine and loaded my saved game. So it doesn't effect your saved game. However, I can't use the benchmarking tool anymore.

F1 2010 will never be a sim worth playing because (a) its not a sim its an arcade game and (b) modders have no access to the physics to make the handling more realistic.

Well after installing some mods I can't save the game, searched and only found that I have to play the default game to be able to save. Too bad I wanted to play the career mode with the mods because they improve the game a lot.

I'm using the True AI mod and the mod manager. My saved game works fine and I can save fine. I don't see much of a difference from the stock game TBH but the changes are meant to be subtle. I've only done 1 race and a practice session with the mod also.

Protege- try to uninstall all mods and install them one-by-one, testing o see if you save each time. and you will find out which mod(s) is the culprit.

Use the "save game fix" from the top of my post. Then you can have all the mods you want.
