I am very glad I joined iRacing because it allows me to race pretty much whenever I want. Before joining, I had to spend hours looking for servers, leagues and even then I had to schedule my life around racing if I wanted to get something out of it.
Now I get a lot of racing and practice done at iRacing, but I still love GTR2. Yet, I can never find a simple pick up race or even a practice server with more than 2 people in it. I think part of it is my location, in the US west coast, at the very edge of the time zones. But at the same time, the US west coast, US central, Canada and whatever other populated country are nearby, should be able to produce 20 people on average that would like to join a server and practice or race a bit every night after work. Shouldn't we? And it doesn't seem to matter what sim I use: GTR2, Race 07, NKpro. The only one where I Have a chance to see another car on track is iRacing, and even there only in some series. I like the V8 in iRacing, but in order to join a race I'd have to move to Australia. In NKpro I'd need to move back to Italy (where I am from, incidentally). So, how many people live in the US west coast time zone or nearby? How many can find someone to race with on a regular basis? What would it take to get something going? |

There are always heaps of people playing Race07. :0 At least where I play.
Perhaps you should race on european servers? I've seen both americans and canadians join in on the fun. |
